Like stated above - its that love/hate thing.

I love it because it would seem to me as only YOU would be doing that. Or be the first that I would see lol.

I hate it just because it looks like one more thing for all the muscle car heads to point and laugh at.

But I like it seriously - For some insanely odd reason it reminds me of some aftermarket exhaust that went on the Porshe in the late 90's. . .?

haha if I don't care what the Nissan people say, why would I care about what the muscle guys say? lol

but in all seriousness, most muscle guys already have a solid opinion on our cars. Stupid cracker jack boxes with lawnmower engines. It's pretty hard to change that, unless you throw a small block Chevy in there... then you're back on "their" side.

as far as the fender flares being detachable, i was surfing hybrid z yesterday and saw a writeup on ZG flares. the guy used nutserts riveted into the fenders with a special tool. made the flares detachable.

Thanks for the link. See the thing is, I like being able to go back to stock look. Thats why I'm still debating flares/no flares... because that is the point of no return. I will have to cut my fenders are drill holes into my quarter panels and fenders. Sure, those are removeable, but also very noticeable once removed.

It's actually called Bosozoku, or even Yanki style.

That C230 Cedric actually made me consider finding a 4 door Datsun 610 and making a daily driver bosozoku car looking identical to that. It's actually still crossing my mind right now..

dude i LOVE the "function over form" oil cooler setup but the pipes I would have to get used to-they are too tall IMO.

the oil cooler reminds me of the KPC racecar!!! I've been thinking about doing something similar to my car..I love the exposed oil hoses!

You know why this car is sexy? It's because he went with a certain theme and pullled it off; it flows together really well. It doesn't have that poorly put together puzzle look because they all fit well. That's how I see it at least.

Props man, I'd drive it.

hmmmmmm.... i was thinkin this before but didn't wanna say anything, but this looks photoshopped. i notice the shadow on the car and the ground, but just the surreal look it has against the sky and around the taillights, and the pipes dont look straight, like the lines look like they bubble a bit like it was erased in an almost straight line

If he photoshopped that, he has some kick *** video editing skills. That video he posted of the exhaust is pretty slick.

LOL. Burn

Could someone give a brief backgroud of the "boso" style, seeing as we are on the subject, to fill in anyone who would like to know why it is so "80's" and pretty kickass. . .
