I still don't know. Part of me wants flares and 15X11s, the other part wants to keep drifting and spending money into turbo, wheels, tires suspension.

I just don't know.

IMO you need to keep the car the way it is. It seems like people are thinking to hard about whats going on with it, to decide if they like it or not.

It's cool if you can take that stuff off in like 5 minutes, it's the irreversible mods people do like cutting up their chassis and hack sawing their roof off to make targa top is what makes me wanna pull my hair out. I'm getting an oil cooler next, summers coming and my engine is gonna need if I start drifting/racing.

so how did boso come to be applied to cars?

I wiki'd it.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bosozoku

NOTHING about cars.

http://bosozoku.com/has a link to cars that look nothing like the cars referred to on this site as "boso" but instead are pretty much clean looking cars any one of use would own with pride... except one rather ricey FD. kinda looks like the FD from FnF.

I dont understand. my searches on bosozoku come up mainly as motorcycle gangs/clubs.

Don't look at my car in person. I did the most terrible job any body can do. Ask anyone that has seen it. It looks like s***. Seriously. I'm saving up for Maaco or something. I can't stand looking at that turd everyday. lol

you really get more info from the VIP style entry on wiki.

from what I gather, like in all motorcycle gangs, sometimes you just need a car. the crazy modifications you see to the cars are a mix of VIP (deep dish wheels, over-size exhaust pipe) and their bike modifying styles. you sometimes see crazy long exhausts on the bikes, long seatbacks - like the extended spoilers or huge front lips on the cars.

so basically, the car is an extension of the bike, and it being crazier because there's just more to work with on a car.

lol, the non cut zipties and oil cooler in the front compliment the big *** pipes, its cool that you can remove em within 5 minutes

im guessing thats more of a "for poops and giggles" thing? it would definatley be funny to see in the street, but if your being serious about what looks better, i was digging the old look a lot

also... you can take your whole car apart in 20 minutes? great news for theifs lol

that must be fun though to be able to change different body parts whenever the hell you want

I would never take this look seriously. Its all about shts and giggles. I mean come on, my oil cooler has one hose connected to it. The hose is connected to one of the oil cooler's pipes, it goes in through the grill, loops around a few zipties, and comes back out to hook back onto the oil cooler. It always gets a few laughs from the people I show. lol

Right now, my car is back to normal as we speak. SE wheels in the back, no pipes. Pretty much what you guys remember it as, minus the SE's. Every once in a while I drive to school and work with the boso pipes on just for kicks. I went to my last drift event with them on too. That was interesting.
