Why do people link pictures to Facebook?I doesnt work.Use photobucket or one of the other free image hosts.

Also, have you spoken to him about this? From your post it doesnt say whether or not you asked him for a refund. He seems to be a pretty active member on the forum so its hard to believe he would try scamming this late in the game.

He also bought Chosen_Ones' car so i doubt he is someone short of cash who needs to scam someone out of a few hundred dollars.

Poor packaging caused the H/G to end up like that. I'm sure you guys can get this resolved with the least slightest intervention from staff and members of NICO. Please email Mr. Sink and try and resolve this matter before bleeding it to the forums. It might be premature to call him a scammer, when he just may refund your loot with an apology. Keep us posted on this situation.

You guys need to talk to each other, and next time use email, i think those are a much safer bet, than texting.

From the smell of things this was just a bad shipping deal with a lack of proper description on the parts he was selling.

Yes, he had shipping issues in the past with some valve covers. They were recieved broken.

I was going to buy the motor from the guy, but he took forever to pull it. By the time he was ready to pull it, my schedule didn't allow me to buy it. Would not recommend buying from him, as he doesn't seem to take it seriously enough to satisfy his buyers.

In either case, try to resolve it on your own. If not, get a text transcript.

I cant really knock the guy, but i had purchased the exhaust cam from him a couple of days after he posted his partout thread, and same exact thing was told to me........"AS SOON AS PAYPAL CLEARS, I WILL HAVE IT SHIPPED RIGHT AWAY!" and 2 weeks later, i ask him whats going on with the cam and he's telling me he needs a ride to ups to drop the stuff off......so im like cool, he will take care of it right away as i was re-assured its going out asap and that its boxed up and ready to go.... but still, i receive it almost 2 weeks after that! i was sooooo pissed!

just want to let people know if you are going to purchase something from this guy be prepared to wait a month or more for your part!

does NICO have a seller review thread or anything? i think it'd be a good addition if it isn't present, that way it keeps threads like these out of the communities and in a special spot.

people cant manage to use a search button..... seems like a waste of bandwidth.

not nocking the idea, but maybe a feedback button on the profile would work much better.

Guess it's easy to conclude that you guys shouldn't be buying crap from him and maybe he shouldn't be selling stuff either, if his attention to detail is going to be piss-poor. Wish all of you had posted-up before and just maybe this thread wouldn't be in existence. Oh well, chalk it up to trial and error and learn from it.

Bad intentions -- I have a set of Cams I bought a few years back expecting to get in on a groupbuy regrind that never happened. I live 30 min east of Albany and work every day in Albany.

Let me know if you still need one. ( assuming you will not get a refund from the seller)

If you do get a refund, I do have a head on a motor I spun a main bearing in last August at Calabogie Motorsports.

WOW...ive been going through some bs with jrsink too. i sent money for the engine mounts back in march and he said he would ship it out when paypal clears, like racemydatsun said, but he never shipped out. i gave him 2 weeks from the time i sent money for him to ship it, and when i went to see what the hold up was, he told me he was on vacation or something and that hed ship them as soon as he got back home so i was like, fine ok...then comes april and he still never ship it out so i ask him whats up and he tells me he needs a ride/is working/or some other lame excuse. fed up, (and because i totaled my coupe), i told him i didnt need them anymore and that i wanted my refund...i went through paypal to get a refund...he agreed and apoligized, AND told me he sold them locally anyways MF...that was almost 5 weeks ago, from apr 27 to be exact, and i still havent received a refund. last i talked to him he told me he doesnt have the money and that he has other claims going on which is why his acct is in the negatives.

whatever man that not my business but basically, since you sold them locally, you should have MY 80 bucks AND the other guy's 80 bucks, so wheres my refund??

i literally just got off the phone with payapl and they said they were able to recover the funds, BUT his bank accts failed to refund the money or something like that. so basically they told me im just gonna have to wait for this sob to put money into his acct. b****.

this guy is such BS..i hate people like this. i wonder when his last sign in/post was, since he obviously hasn't been on to check this in awhile. sounds to me like he maybe a scammer of some sort, but who knows. i am 99.9999% sure NOBODY in the CA forum will deal with him again and wont let their friends deal with him either..

sorry for everyone's bad luck..i remember i bought a SR20 stock O2 housing from someone on here (not jrsink), took awhile to ship but got it and the O2 sensor bung was too small..it was $20 so i didn't care, but the seller gave me 1/2 refund because of shipping time. so i was like COOL some people are awesome, some try to funk you over..im a cool-cat

I think we can add the member Maxstyle to this thread also. It has been two months and he owes me 280 bucks. Nothing but excuses at first and now no replies to emails.

I have dealt with JRsink too. He forgot to update his paypal address so post office sent a power steering pump back to me. At first he was blaming me for not shipping it to the right address. I told him I would ship it back out once he paid for the next round of shipping. Two one hour round trips to the post office and he still had not paid for the second shipping. Now it would require a third trip. He then said he just wanted a refund, but I wasn't going to make all those trips for nothing so we agreed to a partial refund.

Kind of frustrating but at least I wasn't at a total loss for my time.
