i know that's frustrating bruh... I want to get some retro HID's, but I'm not sure if I want to pay the amount that lightwerkz charges ... also, another company is suppose to be coming out with some headlights any day/week/month now... or so we've been told
dangeris wrote:Well yesterday I got out of work early and headed off to my car. As I was walking towards it I was admiring the headlights...when all of a sudden, something caught my eye... Something was definitely wrong but what?..Woud you believe the passenger side lowbeam angel eye came the hell off! I was like The only thing that I didn't touch from that was still "original" form the "headlight retro-fitter we shall not name" Anyway,..I was late and didn't have time to deal with it but on the way home all I can think about was that damn angel eye and all the crap that I have to go thru...AGAIN...to fix it! uuugh...

So after my appointment, I got changed and went to work. With the PA HIN around the corner, I don't have time to fart around. Needless to say, because of the new materials I used to seal up the lights, it only took me 1 1/2 hours to fix and that is including, taking off the bumper, removing the light, fixing the light, re-installing the light, re-installing the bumper I was just buttoning things up when my wife pulled into the drive way. When she asked what I was doing, I told her the story and she couldn't believe that I was done so fast..frankly me neither

All I can say is 3M strip calk FTMFW!!!!!!

Darryl n matt...

With the lights you guys have goin... Maybe a smoke machine for HIN isnt a bad idea, you can run it off the 12v of that battery charger thing you brought out.

Additional strobes to attract attention? All available at your local "spencer gift" in the mall, and as always RETURNABLE after the event lol!

Darryl, please tell me I gave you a box or 2 of the altimacoupe.com cards, im out and we are ordering more, but its a MUST HAVE for HIN!

Not a bad idea. We borrowed that power pack from Joe's neighbor but I'm sure that it can be had in a near by walmart. I'll check it out tonight. I'll also look for a smoke machine...perhaps it can be rented..although returning it would be better As for the boxes of cards?...nope, all I have is what you gave me initially a while ago. Probably about 100 or so maybe less. Matt may have some tho.. I'll ping him later to see. I agree though its a must have..

Don't they have a cheap smoke/light machine for Rock Band or something like that for your Xbox? I bet that would be cheaper then renting one...although it wouldn't be putting out enough smoke to completely cover anything, but enough to have something cool rolling out of under your car. Or in the engine? Make people wonder, haha

Haha, you a$$!!! It is because of people like you that some stores have completely UN-lax policies...you r@ped Target when it was a little girl and turned it into the bitter women it is now...their returns are imposible!!!

those lights look super dope man, great job! I've never been a big fan of color matched headlights, coz it reminds me of the honda fit color matched headlights. But i must say, they look pretty good.

Ok so it's 8:30 in the morning and the car is ready and packed for the Scranton HIN! Matt was able to get a sweet fog machine and hopefully we have an inverter to run it with. We're meeting at the Gates for roll in at 12. This should be a fun event!

Dangeris,

Your car has come a long way.

Very nice man.

But what's up with the under lights?

So all for show, but no go yet?

Great job, Bro.

didnt you have the regular hood with the stillen fascia in the past? I liked that more than the ED carbon fiber hood, either way your car is SEX!

how much did the hood cost? (if you dont mind me asking)
