i actually completely agree with this statement. too many times i've seen luxury cars heavily modded and they look like crap. some cars maybe just need a slight drop and wheels. maybe a few lights here and there to set it apart and thats it.rjdmmfl1 wrote:
IMO, some cars shouldn't be molested, I would never do to the G37 what I've done to my A/C... I just have the opinion that luxury vehicles shouldn't be tampered with... but that's just my .03

do you have a link to that info, i was just on infinitis website its saying they are all RWD
... I really, really like the G37 and I'm glad that reviews are giving this car the props it deserves..again, if I wanted to stay stock, this would have been my choice... honestly, I've been inside every type of BMW, and I just don't know what all the fuss is about... the boring same old wood grain interior with no frills, no pizazz.. they just don't do it for me...
I guess it's safe to assume that Nissan will NOT be throwing the CVT in the G37 in the future!audtatious wrote: Finally, the slushbox is being upgraded from a 5AT to a 7AT.
I love the concept of the CVT, and the feel as well... I've never driven a car with such smooth acceleration... now if they could design one that could withstand 400 + HP, I think they would consider putting one in their higher end cars... no matter how nice the 7AT transmission is, I would have a hard time believing it accelerates as smoothly as the CVT... I know its not all about smooth acceleration, but the CVT just screms sophistication, just my .03!audtatious wrote:I would take that as a no
I have a suspect that either weight or performance from the CVT isn't up to par for the G coupe or Z's. How does the CVT downshift? I believe on the G's it rev matches, but not sure how the CVT handles it.rjdmmfl1 wrote:
