89 240sx ka24e powerstering problem

i have absolutly no powerstering on my 240 and its starting to kill me i know that the line from the pump to the rack has a hole in it and my friend has a 92 240 with the ka24de he sayed i can have his line if i think it will fit but the pump and resivore are on diffrent sides and the lines look about the same so if anyone can help please do

the hardlines for the system are different. The line from the pump goes into a hardline that goes to the rack.
You could either find the hardlines and pump line from a twin cam or you can check out this thread

they make a line that goes straight from the pump to the rack, no hardlines, no sensor and their product and customer service is great.
I picked up a SS line and its pretty sweet just waiting to put it in but install is pretty easy it goes directly into the pump to the rack.

More than likely it's the high pressure hose it's a common problem with every powersteering system on all cars, if you got a shop that deals with making pressurized hoses see if they can modify the hose for you.... It's cheaper than getting a replacement.....
