I doubt 300hp. the 4g63 can boost up to 15psi stock. my buddy's 90 gsx is set to 15psi with stock turbo. He just got the same EVo III turbo but mainly everything else is stock. i say about 250 at the fly. I wouldn't be proud of that video either....

well i know my friends tsi has a shalow 5th gear---it may have topped out---put it this way at 70mph hes right at 3k rpm in fifth(its kinda cool bucause it will still sit you back in you seat at 70:) )

the z was 6 speed right---z had better gears.I was happy to see the z beat that car---6 bolt motor--thats a one g. Dude had alot of mods donre to the car if its a proted and clipped turbo and a 1g motor.

that GSX should have walked the 350z for all the **** it has done... i would be pissed if i put that money into the gsx and still couldnt beat a 350

My friends gt-s can only go up to 130mph, no high end at all but he runs low 13's though.

friends 95 gst with a 4g63 motor, had a good bit of mods and the DSM link read he was pushin bout 267hp to the wheels at 12 pounds, those motors can hold 21 pounds stock internals if built right, safer to stick around 19 pounds for racing though, oh and he only took the car up to 6k rpm's think 6.2 to 6.5k rpm's should be peek power. dsm link isnt as accurate as a dyno, but said by the designers to be extremely accurate on flat surface and no wheel slip. I know its only pushin power to two wheels, but the motor can reach 300hp relitivly easily.

After watching the Vid I can say for sure the GSX won the race. The Z was pulling a little bit on the top end. I think some of you thought he flew pass the GSX at the end.... well when you let off the gas and step on the brakes that happens. That 16G Aka the pink turbo is a waste of time on a GSX for a GSX at freeway speeds. On a GST best way to go for a lil bang. When I had my DSM it had no top end power just low end and some mid. Well that was till I put a T3/T4E on it with some supporting mods. It ran like a champ on the fwy best way to kinda over come the AWD drive line drag at high speeds it to make more hp lol.

Ohh yeah and max boost with stock head bolts I think it is 25psi on race gas. The most I ever ran was 22psi with 91 octane mixed with some C16.

Buddy of mine is getting gen 2 pistons, Big 16 G turbo and maching work on the block and head on his 1st gen gsx. It'll kill both them cars. It'll run 12's all day long with the proper tuning.

im still trying to get across that the 4g63 car had a 1g motor, head and intake. a bigger turbo etc--that gsx didnt hit the brakes--if that would have happened--it would have looked like he hit revevers and that z had hit boost on a t78 or something

bwt--as far as dss go--he probably had to tow that thing home becaus he may have broken the transmission or the motor blew up or the turbo started to leak or the gasket on the IM blew------etcetc---gsx's are the most problematic cars i have EVAR seen.

Nope they have there problems. But they are also the best bang for the buck for racing. We will just have to agree to disagree because I don't think the Z shot passed him because of pure power. If that were the case it wouldn't have took him that long to do so.
