I have used search and could not find anything on my problem. I have a 96 zenki se with a ka24de and just recently brought it into a shop to get the check engine light fixed, while that is now fixed i can still not get it inspected due to multiple systems reading "not ready". I dont know what could be causing this.

This is a common problem with early OBD II vehicles.

There are certain drive cycle requirements that must be met before the readiness is reached. The problem is, Nissan made the requirements too strict. So strict in fact that often times the car will need to be run on a dyno using a certain procedure outlined by Nissan to achieve readiness.

I'd recommend getting that Blatz set up for your laptop, hooking your car in, and seeing first hand which systems are acting up. It'll give you cel codes and check the fsm for ways to repair.

Its not a problem of systems acting up. It was an oversight in the programing of the ECU. The readiness codes are triggered once certain parameters are met. The problem is, these parameters are extremely difficult to achieve during normal driving. Its not something a Blatz cable would really help with.
