One thing one has to understand is Q45tech is not an employee of T-3. He may be a part owner, but I have no information about that. The actual majority owner has posted here, but only once. Our loss.
Q45tech wrote:Forum business in tiny and has always cost many more hours by a factor of 5-10-20 than it generates. The annual dollar value we currently get from out of state is insignificant [maybe $15,000 per year].

Our best year was 2000, where out of state was about ~$33,000. That is a drop in the bucket when you gross more than a few million annually and have 15 employees and 3 shops to feed.

Out of state/area actually costs more because you must be extra special cautious or risk ending up towing them back from who knows where for mistakes.

It all started as a kind of a challenge to see how far I could get someone to drive to ATL, then it was used to inflate employees ego, now it has little if any emotional value.

For years I've hoped every state/region would have a T3 type place for Q45 to go but as we've seen few can make a serious go of it and survive.
Clearly, Dennis states he wishes more locations offered T-3 level of services, particularly for the G50 and even FY33. We'll ignore the dominant Lexus side of T-3 business.

He further states that as a solution for owners who have unsolvable problems, he encourages them to transpost their cars to Atlanta for the correct services which T-3 can provide. Anyone who thinks he should recommend Joe's Garage instead because it is local is just plain stupid beyond belief.

He also states that the amount of of businees that is directly attributable to the hours he spends researching, posting, and recounting his knowledge for the member's of this board is financially insignificant when compared to the overall revenues of T-3 in their market.

Has reading comprehension declined so preciptously with what's left of American education, or are we just too lazy to think? Oooohhh, brain hurts when I use it!!! No! No! Must not think!

I leave it to each member to determine to the best of each one's abilities.

What are you saying?

Who's saying Dennis is an employee of T3? All of Qship's posts referenced Dennis' promotion of T3. He might not go out of his way to say "Hey, come to T3!", but given his anecdotes and the level of Infiniti/Lexus expertise contained within it's three locations, one would definitely be attracted to having their car serviced there.

B-Rizzle, you have issues.

Q45Gal, I apologize for B-Ri's shenanigans. How's the car running today? I woke up this morning to find my Q coveed in snow. Very upset. Didn't think I'd have to retire it this early. Depending on the weather for the rest of the week, Imay have to take my MDX to and from school/work. I drove it this morning to run an errand. I'd forgotten how much I love that car and how it rides.

Snow tires are a great thing to have. If you can afford it you should get a second set of wheels to put them on; then you can change your tires yourself instead of paying somebody to do it every spring and winter.

Just remember it's still a rear-wheel drive car and spins the tires easily.
