95 window motor the same as 96+?

I looked but couldnt find the answer, or im just really blind...lol

my window motor took a crap on me, someone has a window motor out of a 95 S14. Im just wondering if it will work with my 97.

I only ask because the window switches are different so I wanna make sure if the motors are the same or not

switches are different? didnt notice. wish i could help, but i guess not. my only advice is to grab the part and get to work.

Take the door panel off, takes about 3 minutes. If you cant see the motor through the door frame then remove the regulator and compare the motors. Takes about a strong hour.

Or...Go to your local parts store. See if they have a motor in stock...and compare.

Or, you could call a Nissan Parts guy>me...

There is only one part # for all the motors in all the s14s. So in my professional opinion there is no reason why it wouldnt work...that is as long as the motor isnt bad.

Yeah it will still work, i used a 95 window motor on my 96 i think i had to switch the brackets on it but it was simple just look at ur current one and the one from a 95 but yes it works. And i dont understand why they changed the switches either lol

Yes it should work. Nissan used the same motor for almost all of the cars in the mid 90s. The motor powering my S14s passenger window came from a 96 300ZX in the junkyard.
