Well, I had to give the dealer my VIN. But before this, they told that could tell by looking under the hood, and i did not find crap. So I guess the VIN is the easy way. Don't know what you would do if you had a swapped motor though...

can you take a pic of those extra wires you're talking about? I too have some extra wires hanging, but I dont nkow if those are for the cruise control, which was taken out, or what? I can take a pic of the wires that's just hangin...:)

nevermind....i just re-read your post. I dont have wires hanging around my manifold.

Hi i have 95 S14 with prodution date at 94 and i think i have OBD I. My check engine light had been pop up for a long time but i couldnt find the link data port to read the code. Can anyone tell where it is? and how do i read the error code?

model year 96 and newer are OBD2. thats universal.

the plug is behind the glove box on the passangers side.
