I have a 1995 nissan 240sx that I had just bought just thought I would say I love this car, it has a miss though I've tried everything from tune-up to compression test, I've used a heavy duty fuel system cleaner and intake cleaner and nothing works, you can only notice the miss when the car is warmed up at idle and low rpms, it idles like crap and no check engine light, and it does not miss when you get into the higher rpms.

Check the electrical timing, and mechanical timing. What do the spark plugs look like?

Have you noticed any smoking, or odd smells?

I had a similar problem with both of mine. I cleaned the maf on one and had to replace my other. mine was at around 3200 rpms and then fine all the way to redline...hey just noticed you live in eureka. Im from fortuna but Im in san diego for the marines. go up to arcata auto ask for john he has a couple 240's he is on here to ''srpowered''

did u get a check engine at all, I have no check engine, sounds like the same problem though, these cars are too fun this is my first one and its fun.

the timing is right on, the spark plugs are a a light white color, no odd smells.

nope no engine codes. just randomly starts running good when warmer, try the mafs
