I'm hearing ya. ebay can be a biotch.

To me 3 day auctions seem shady, but I hate waiting out the 5 & 7 day ones, UGH.

I e-mailed the winner...he said he was bidding for a relative.

I was afraid that if I waited any longer (33 seconds left) the bid might not go through. It apparently did and he bid with 8 seconds left.

I did my best.

I am still interested in the member car up north..but I am concerned that it has had some stuff done that you never hear of on this board.

(transmission seals, new engine at birth, freeze plug) Just stuff that has never happened to my two Q's. It's more concerting to hear stuff that we have all replaced or are aware of ...

just a piece of advice from relative experience..If I notice an auction sniper, I open a new bidding window in my browser and have it ready to go..and bid my final price a couple of seconds before it ends...if luck has it..I might win it..I don't know of any auto sniping software/website that can do what the human reflex can *smoky fingers* !!

Try Auctionsniper.com. I set mine for 5 seconds and have never had one not go through.

I thought about Doc's car but it has been repainted at least once, still needs some bodywork and the cost to ship to Denver is prohibitive. In my experience, maintenance is more important than mileage on these cars and a low mileage engine does not necessarily mean it won't blow up the next day.

jeez.....I just drove a 1998 Cadillac Seville SLS with 83k miles. Mint inside and out.

It also comes with the last 13 months of an extensive premium extneded warranty with 0 deductible.

He is asking 8500 for it. Probably would take 8200

Is Q ownership slipping through my hands. I really wanted the 94 I got sniped on.

I'd go for the caddy. I mean it is a 98

Was the 1994 white or pearl? I'm not sure I would care for white personally. Someone told me that the 1994 models still used leather on the door panels and the 1995 and newer were vinyl?
