in retrospect i think i might understand what you're talking about. did you install some UDP pulleys or something? Do a search I did it a while back on my J. didn't want to do the accesory pulleys because I didn't feel it was worth the work.

Holy crap he does speak modern english! Haha, I'm just messing with ya, but as far as pulleys you can look up perfomance parts for the 300Z and find what you're looking for.

go with the Unorthodox if you do it. Get the application for the 93 Z (N/A). They will fit. Search for a post somewhere by me where I did the install. You'll need different size belts then what is listed by the instructions provided by Unorthodox. The pulleys can be had for around $150 now, much cheaper then they used to be, just do some shopping around on the internet and I'm sure you'll find em. I think http://www.courtesynissan.com might have them, but always check http://www.unorthodoxracing.com first for part numbers.

I used 408125-S on my 93. I got it from Stillen. Amazingly they had the best price at the time. This isn't the case any more. You can also follow Unorthodox's belt recommendations closely, except that the power steering should only be a 3 rib belt and an inch shorter then recommended.

In the future try to keep your posts together in one related thread.

We, J owners are sometimes forced to check out 300zx sites to get the low down on our engines for maintenance and performance stuff. Get an aftermarket ECU before you do anything else. I don't have one but the guys that do say its the best bang for your buck. Then I think you have to cut out about 400 lbs of luxury to get the weight down because the J30 is a luxury sports sedan meant for highway antics and handling not stoplight racing. This car could soooooo handle 50 more hp. :D Not easily attainable, unfortunately. :(

Trial and Error man, that's the way you gotta do it when it's never been done before :D . If the application says it'll fit a 93 N/A Z they'll probably fit J. Don't forget you can always just call Unorthodox and get the part #'s. Just don't tell them what you drive, say you drive a 93 Z N/A otherwise they won't help you.

Tell me more about the Z. What year and motor? What's different about the WP pulley?

What the hell is their problem? If it were my store they could drive a Pinto and I'd sell them a set. Business is that good that they have to pick and choose their customers?
