For plugs, I'd go with NGK Iridiums, I believe they come pregapped so you just drop em right in.

Alright, any suggestions on cheap power boosts then?Razi wrote:No idea on cold air intakes, I don't even know if they make a big difference on our cars. Plus, the filters sit in the engine bay, opposed to sucking out air from the outside via a tube like the factory intake.
As for the fans, I'd keep the stock fan. It doesn't suck up your electrical power, pushes a lot of air, and it works like Nissan intended.
That's why I'm still running the stock fan even after I turbocharged my motor.
Cheap power boosts don't do that much for the KA.likeaboss wrote:Alright, any suggestions on cheap power boosts then?Razi wrote:No idea on cold air intakes, I don't even know if they make a big difference on our cars. To elaborate on this, it's cheaper to put together a worthwhile / quality kit, than to buy a worthwhile / quality kit.Razi wrote:Pieced one together myself. It was cheaper that way.

There are cheap kits to be had, but they're not worth it. Don't fall into the trap.

I'd say buy a spare KA and rebuild it on the side from the ground up for turbo and then swap it in. Keep it under 350hp and it should be relatively inexpensive and quick.likeaboss wrote:Hahahaha thanks for the warning! Yea im considering either my own turbo kit or just a complete engine swap

Yea I figure that'd be the case, guess I need to find another job lolasoomal wrote:Well if you just remove the belt, it's gonna be really hard to steer since there's fluid in it...
Only way I'd do it is by taking the rack apart and greasing it up with some moly stuff.
