YES I INSTALLED THE TRANSMISSION CORRECTLY R&R A transmission IS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. AS FOR THE TOP OF THE BELLHOUSING THERE WERE NO READABLE NUMBERS OK. I DROVE IT SOME MORE YESTERDAY AND REALIZED THE CAR ONLY HAS THESE SHIFTING PROBLEMS IN DRIVE AND ITS ONLY INBETWEEN MY 3/4 GEARS. AND IM SORRY FOR NOT INSTALLING A NEW REMAN transmission SOME OF US DONT HAVE 2000 FOR A NEW ONE.

What do the x65 and X79 of the transmission model designations mean? Are they dear diameters? Or an amount of revolutions of something? Just asking.

Many people get confused by month and year date stamp [vs what they think is model year] on door why dealers require VIN number to select the correct transmission.

Common problem we see mixed and matched junkyard trannies done by incompetent mechanics shops...............other than weird shifts and shift speeds [MPH] they seem to drive ok for clueless owners.

I always check rpm vs speed with Consult to understand which version I'm dealing with [was there a bad swap or not?].

Important to make sure TCU is a correct match for transmission If shifts are important.

I think you may have shed light on my situation. The thing is, the shift speed variations are intermittent, which leads me to suspect the TCU. I can never seem to replicate the problem during service though.
