I am new here. So bear with me.

I have been searching my county for a 240sx.

I had only found about 2. One of which I have no intent on purchasing. And the other I haven't exactly looked into.

Until recently, I was in the county south of mine whenI found a 240sx which appeared to be in fairly decentcondition especially compared to the other one.

I left my number under the windshield wiperand a few days later I got a call.

I talked to the owner for awhile and had him tell meall the work he can remembering having done to it.

Now the only problem I had was understanding this man.His accent was thick and talked fast so he was hard to understand.

If you see question marks[?] that meansI was unsure if I had heard him correctlyand I got tired of asking him to repeat.

But here is what I listed as I heard it:*I do not know the year because I forgot to ask >.<

-Motorswap - Done himself- SR20DE-T25-50k miles @ install - about 75k now-TransSwap - Original was low on fluid/oil. Never checked. So it went up. He replaced it with an S14 Trans.-Modified ECU - STL Tuning ?-CATForward - 4 inch exhaust-CATBack - 2 inch ?-Forward Intercooler-Stage 3 Clutch - Competition Clutch?-Coilovers-Rims-Front Pillar Rods ?-Rear Arms-Boost Controller

He also has items that he would throw inor sell me for a bit:

-550 Nismo Injectors _put them in once, but fuel maps weren't set up correctly? _ran too rich - so took them off-5 Lug Suspension?-Body Parts? [ What I not know ]

I'm not really so concerned about these, but if you know what they should run for. Let me know.

I'm here because I need ideas on whatan offer for a car with this condition should go for.I need to call him back with a number becausehe didn't even give a ballpark range.

If you have any other questions about the caror need more specifications reply with themand I will make a list and call him back.

I'm trying to see if this car is worth buyingand if I'd be able to. I'd sure as hell like to.Best one I've found around here.

Please leave your reasonable estimates for prices.I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

I cant really make an accurate offer without knowing for sure what is all done to the car, and what condition it is in, if possible I would say go take a look at it, and see everything that he has done, and if possible take some pictures. Personaly I would never buy a modded car because I cant trust anyone elses workmanship. my 2 cents.

I'm not really concerned with a dead on price. But I wanted to get SOME sort of idea. For instance, you could tell me what youthink would be a reasonable price for a carwith those mods.

I'd like to get down there again with my cameraand take some pictures and meet with him.

If the seller and I can find a time where we are both freeI'm going to have him take it up to my mechanic andhave my mechanic do like a full inspection.

And I know what you mean about the,not buying a car already modded, but if my mechanic gives it the clear.I'd feel confident and be content with buying it.

Look for rust on the frame rails, floor pans, bumper supports, shock towers and wheel wells. Take for it a test drive and have your mechanic check it.
