car idles at 500, and wont rev past 3000, I replaced the pump with the one from my prelude, the filter with a brand new one, and I got that air temp sensor. What else should I check? it only idles for a sec then it dies. It's been sitting about a year.

bad fuel, clogged fuel lines/filter, flush your fuel system and run some fuel system cleaner through it.

if your check engine light is on you need to find out what codes it is throwing, do not reset the ecu until you find out what it thinks is wrong.

cel is not on, I hear an exhaust leak and see a loose bolt, but thats not my problem. ignition is fine.whould it dothis with a blown head gasket? I'm going to swap the tps and injectors, if it still does it I'm selling the car.

before you buy new injectors do this.... pull the distributor out and turn the ignition to the "on" setting.... then turn the distributor by hand and listen for the injectors to fire

and about the tps.... if you disconnect it the car will still run but if you rev it has about a 1 sec bog before the engine winds up.... if the ecu doesnt tell u what it is try running it disconnected before buying a new one

if any of the cylinders are not firing try disconnecting individual spark plugs wires to see how the engine reacts.... this will pinpoint which ones arent firing and you can go from there

just tryin to help! peace

check the MAF sensor might be damaged or disconnected....look for loose plugs....also....do you have the stock air box or an aftermarket cold air system if so how is it setup?
