The dude asked about gas milage and easy ways to improve it, and you tell him how to spend between 1000 and 4000 dollars, and only get a tiny bit of extra power, considering he's upgrading a sports car, and could turbo it for that, or if show is his thing, wheels, paint, slam.
Just sayin'.
OP, I suggest you seafoam it, get a CAI if you must, clean or replace all filters, change all fluids, make sure your tire pressures are good, and if you want, bump them a bit more besides.
Your milage looks about on to me, I wouldn't expect anything to be wrong.
Try driving more gently. Keep RPM's low, don't take off hard, accelerate slow, don't drive fast, don't speed up if you're about to slow down, avoid using brakes and engine brake or coast down in neutral as much as you can. Buy the best quality gas you can, if you put crap in your car it will run like crap, and you end up getting less for your money.
If you think there's something wrong, check the ECU for codes. If it idles high after it's warm, clean junk out and look at codes, or else it's just not warmed up yet.
