I second the nomination. This will be what I show every rice fanatic who asks, "Why not just go SR?" I think the Nitrous will really help the sheet though. It really looks like an uphill battle until you get the turbo going. But at half that, I will be VERY happy (maybe?).

Let's ride up to GLD this Sunday and take a look-see. My wife is tagging along -- or so she says. HA I'll believe it when I see it.

Didn't make it to the meet. Went and heard the Chicago Symphony Orchestra perform Mozart's Requiem this evening. Was good ‘cept there were no Nissan’s and no beer… on the plus side there weren't any SRs either.

I went to the track tonight... Best run of the night was a 12.200... but MPH was 138.29!!!! I crack myself up... My short times were 2.5x with a best of 2.491... truely pathetic... I am looking forward to getting the C4 TC back from being restalled and putting that trans back in so I can actually launch the car.... she took a beating tonight.. I ran four times tonight starting out at 30 psi and working my way up to 38 psi... RPMs at the shift points were between 7000 and 8000 rpms... The car was driven to and from the track (aprox 140 mile round trip)... I showed up, let some air out of the tires, removed the cap on the dump, filled it up with C16 and let her rip... got done, put the dump cap back on, filled up the tires and drove home....

there is still so much work to do... I need to finish the nitrous install and get that tuned, I have decided that the MT ET Street radials must go... The just are not hooking well enough for me... My boost is coming on very quickly once it starts to spool.. boost went from 12.9 psi to 36.5 psi in 1/2 second and this is just causing tire spin... I am trying to decide between the MT ET Street and Hoosier Quick Time DOT slicks... I have run the MTs before but not the Hoosiers... I am kind of leaning towards the Hoosiers... I really need to get the Q diff in the car... The welded diff works great but the gear ratio is just not what my car needs for good trap speeds... I was actually going into 4th gear (overdrive) to run thru the beams... The trans didnt like this much and would spit fluid out of the overflow on the top of the trans.. probably not a good thing at 140 mph...

I had a great time once again and am really getting a kick out of the questions I get from people... "you got an SR or an RB in that thing???" when the answer comes back "no... its a KA" the faces I get are flat out hilarious....

I got plenty of vid which is going to Ryan tomorrow... Hopefully he feels better and gets around to making another vid... He has vids of late night high boost runs on the highway... a slaughtering of a Civic on the highway and will now have the latest installment of track vids... Should make for a nice vid...

Sorry to ramble... kind of tired and excited all at once..

Ivan, you raced a CIVIC!??! Come on man, pick on someone your own size! Jeeezzzz I almost feel sorry for the poor guy! lol

Times are getting better-- cant wait to see what you do on the lower end once you get that nitrous spraying. ...And I guess better tires so you can hook up? Who knew, I thought the rubber you had on there was already top notch. Small steps though I guess-- things sound like they're getting better and better with each post ya make :D

BTW I've got 2 KAs on stands in my garage right now getting pulled apart for a new buildup-- going for the same power level again but fully built this time ()-- also I'm doing a full cage for saftey. 6 point with swing out bars. Next time you're on AIM hit me up, I wanted to ask ya about how you got your cage done etc.

Ivan my brother...I'm impressed man. I knew you'd do well, I was enjoying the comments some people made about you taking forever to get things done. The payoff is always worth the wait when you get things done right.

Although I'm pissed at you for setting the bar so damn high. I'll be using the bottle just to keep up with you on boost I've heard great things about the Hoosiers. Have you considered the fact that you're probably going to need tubs? Cause you're going to have serious traction problems no matter what tire is under that thing But traction problems are almost like the ultimate braggin rights..."yeah, I run 12's at 140" LMAO.

Best of luck bro, stay safe.
