Great stuff. 700+Hp has never looked so good, and damn if it didn't make it so quick either!

fiznat wrote:WOW Ivan!! Awesome numbers!! I cant even imagine that kind of power in the 240 chassis, its gotta be absolutely incredible.... wow wow wow. What did you do for torque?

So are you done now with peak power from the boost, or are you planning on aiming higher? I know the nitrous is yet to come to clear up that "quest" lower end of yours haha but is this pretty much wrapping up the high end for ya?

Gotta see those videos... 43 psi haha thats just silly haha.
Thanks Fizz... On the highway the car is amazing... I floored it at 65 mph and she downshifted to 2nd and took half a second to burry the boost gauge and push me into the seat.... about 4 seconds later I was bouncing off the rev limiter at 138 mph....

TQ is just over 500 at this level... It was staying nice and flat till the inductive loop lost its signal... then the TQ shot up to 1000 (NOTE!!!! IT DID NOT MAKE 1000 lbs TQ...)

I am still shooting for more power... Basically I am out of turbo at this point.. The 70mm compressor wheel turned out to be a poor match for my motor... The 74mm wheel will be a much better match.. I am also going change A/R ratios on the turbine housing... I am going from a 1.01 to a 1.15 to gain a bit of HP.... I will have the turbo upgraded some time soon and I will hit the dyno again in search of 1000 crank HP.. The plan calls for all boost for HP but nitrous will be used to get the turbo "online" quicker then shut off after xx psi of boost...

As of now, we are planning on hitting GLD on Sunday... We are bringing Arnie's SRT-4 (573 whp) Eric's Talon (670 whp) and my 240... I will still be turning slow 60 fts (actually 330 fts) but I will have BOTH tires turning this time instead of "one tire fire"

The C4 was in for a week while I got the Z TT TC restalled.... The restall didnt help much so I will need to get a smaller diameter custom TC built for this setup... The C4 TC is also in desperate need of a restall....

Sounds to me like it's a workhorse, like it will just do that over and over again. It just doesn't really sound like 43psi. Dont' get me wrong, I'm not saying you're lieing. Ka-T's to me sound basically the same at every boost level I've heard, It just sounds solid and reliable. I think that Ka-T's got a good bit of room to grow still.

I'll be less than half of his current power. I'll get halfway down the track before he turns his on.Video won't be able to catch him. You'll just see a blur go past you. BUT when you go frame by frame, it'll show I van pull up in front of, stop, Flick you off, and then take off again...... But in real action all you see is a blurrrrrrrrr.......

We dont have an optical pickup... Basically I am using a low current inductive loop due to the CBR coils... I have the loop around one set of wires going to a coil... It worked just fine the last time I dynoed so I really dont know what was going on... The inductive loop may have been dropped and is now cracked.. who knows...

I am going to get the new Autometer Nexus boost gauge that reads to 60 psi ordered up soon... I can get some nice vid of the boost gauge hitting 45 psi

Honestly, the car is very quiet compared to some we have dynoed... also, in the videos, we had the microphones for the camera turned down VERY low... you cant even hear voices in the vids... It was so low that Ryan had to bring the sound level up when he edited it... We are still getting used to the new camera...
