OK I finally got the manifold through customs after a month. TNT was retarded and shipped it without adequate info to clear customs. Anyways, the test fitting went as planned and fit perfectly. It even looks as though I'll be able to run A/C like a true 650hp baller.

For the pics on the fitment of the manifold, refer to the following thread. I ordered a forward-positioned manifold to make sure i had enough room for the wastegate and downpipe. It cost me about $100USD more but was well worth it. zerothread/286121

Now, I am looking to see who else is seriously interested in going in on the second group buy for these. We need at least 4 people to get a discounted rate. I am not participating in this order, but am acting solely as an organizer and point of contact for everyone.

The things you need to list on your order:1) Turbo flange size2) Divided or open collector3) Forward-positioned or normal-positioned manifold4) Internal or external gate 5) Top-mount or Low-mount6) Engine and chassis it is going into7) Name, address, e-mail address, and PHONE NUMBER!!!!!!

Internally gated manifolds can be ceramic coated for an additional fee, but external gated manifolds can only be coated after the wastegate flange is welded on. I've priced it out and it is about the same as getting it locally done. It would be convenient and save you shipping if you went through 6Boost for that. The material costs are similar though (~$150USD).

I am hoping to get enough people together and give enough time to get finances figured out with tax return season coming up. So, I was thinking of having everyone submit their order by March 1st. That way, Kyle and his crew will have 2 weeks to make the manifolds and then have them on everyone's doorstep by April 1st. If we get a group of 4 together earlier than that, great, we can pull the trigger early and stragglers can jump in later.

Link fixed. I'm a moron.

The group buy price is $1000AUD for the standard position and $1100AUD for the forward position. This is $200AUD off of his regular price. Shipping was around $150AUD.

The price you actually pay through paypal or wire transfer depends on the US dollar strength which is $hitting itself down its leg. Frankly, I did paypal because I did not know Kyle and wanted to have some protection but it costs like $15USD more. After working with Kyle through the whole group buy and then the customs issues that we had with TNT trying to rape us, I would not hesitate for a second to do a wire transfer next time and save myself the $15. He stood behind Seth and I the entire time and basically threw some weight around with TNT.

craz- I'm sure he'll take whatever payment you send as long as his bank accepts it.

240slidekat-My car will be down for another few months just so I can have a little extra time to amass parts and get the intake and downpipe fabricated up. Once that is done, it will be ready to go. And yes it only takes 4 people to get a group buy discount.

lucky7-I hear you on penny pinching. I haven't eaten fast food in about three weeks to help save.

That is a good question. I have not heard from anyone recently about the group buy, so I haven't spent any time coordinating it. I hear you on the US dollar taking a nose dive and it is only going to get worse over the course of the year until a new president is elected.

This is a list of a few people that showed interest in the first group buy but delayed for various reasons. If you guys could please chime in and say yay or nay, that would be helpful.

There was never enough interest at once to get a second group buy going, but I know a couple guys have bought manifold from him at the "retail" price since I got mine.

Here is the original group buy thread:zer...age=4

The manifold turned out awesome and fit perfectly. My only advice is to get the one that Seth got (centered at 3 & 4 cylinders) unless you cannot get the turbo you want to fit.

Here's my update thread with pictures of it installed:zer...age=1

Feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. I can usually answer most things if Kyle isn't responding quick enough.

I can't remember what normal retail is, but it is typically $1000 AUD. Since the USD is a POS, it is getting more expensive as our economy takes a nose dive.

Trying to run a draw thru maf on the manifold I have (forward-positioned) is difficult to say the least. The centered manifold allows for some big turbo's but also positions them in a more favorable location for running a MAF sensor.

well you should order a centered one for yourself, and sell me the forward one

does the centered allow for bigger turbo then the forward position also?

I can vouch for all the stress lol, with the one i had gotten it should have fit a T4 flanged GT35R with room to upgrade, but i'm not sure how close the turbo would be to the strut tower. I would put up some fitment pics but i already sold mine... go figure i'd go thru all that just to sell it lol

my 6boost manifold fits awesome in the 300zx. i couldn't ask for better fitment. When kyle shipped mine i received it within like 4 days. I wouldn't trade this quality for any ebay crap in my opinion.

I can vouch for this manifold. Its absolutely AMAZING. and for all the guys asking, im pretty sure you can fit a bigger turbo with the forward postion and it allows for better downpipe placement.

Is that a correct assumption saying that the forward facing can support a bigger turbo??

I don't think so. The reason I personally wanted the foward facing is to allow more space for the wastegate. I have a 62-1 compressor and I don't have much space left.

I'm sure Kyle can adjust so you can run a bigger turbo for either position.

Well if it were center position then you would have trouble with the strut tower AND the valve covers. And i was thinking that if you wanted more room then fab up an angled spacer to get your compressor housing leaning away from the valve covers to allow for more room. Just a thought
