I say go ahead. It is a Chinese turbo, but if you make sure you put a restrictor in line on the oil feed, it should be ok. I paid more for mine and it didn't come with oil lines or i/c piping. What do you have in mind for fuel management?Good luck and Merry Christmas.

Fitment on mine was great, it was just the seals blowing on the turbo that sucked. But like I said, get a .63 oil restrictor from McMaster Carr and you should be ok.

There is a thread in classifieds for a ka24de setup for $800, revhard mani new garret t3/t4, wastegate, think downpipe... would be better because that stuff won't fail.Or you have my old IAP kit for sale everyhtign you need except a FMIC kit you can get off ebay. Probably wise to ge tnew lines too due to them sitting.

Also where is the turbo elbow to connect the turbo to the piping... It's missing.

yknow... a year ago, I woulda said "ebay turbo kits are crap"

but my buddy bought a t3/o4 kit off of ebay for less than $700, and it came complete with everything except larger mafs and injectors... and he's been running it strong since early spring of this year, w/o any problems...

It's like 1 out of 5 actually last. The turbo is mainly the only thing that goes bad.

The turbos are cheap knockoffs of a Garrett t25. The quality is just not as good. But if you use the oil restrictor like I said, then you should be ok,. I took mine out like a dumbazz and blew the seals out from too much oil pressure. I will say it hauled some serious azz in the 6 miles from my buddy's shop to my house. But the seal blew about half way there. It will still run and spool up and make good boost, but it smokes like a train and fouls plugs in just a short time. So I;m going to get a used sr turbo. But if you add up all the stuff you are getting in your kit, it is a great deal. Mine came with a Godspeed i/c and a HKS ssbov, so even though my turbo crapped out, I don't feel like I got screwed, just inconvenienced.I say go for it, just heed my warning. Good luck.

I have his daughterboard, and chips in my ECU. Cost me like 125$ I think. If you can solder, it's a good deal. Just tell him what you want, and he'll tune for it, and send out the chips and board.Or you can do something like what's in that auction, and that comes with a new ECU with the daughterboard and chips already in it. And there is one jumper on the ECU board that you have to un-solder, and then re-solder across a new spot. Either way is up to you. But I have his stuff and I'm happy. I think Zippy or maybe Spooled got his stuff, but he's got more problems with the car and is not sure if it's narrowed down to Jason's ECU(guy in the link above)

But that kit looks pretty complete. More so than others I've seen. Just do some research and ask around and we'll see what we can help you out with.

*Edit* Just reading though it some, but under the "Stainless Steel Mid Pipe", it says "Modifications needed to fit the pipe to 3 bolt turbo flange." Whatever that means...Other than that, I didn't see anything more to be concerned about. Only that in turbo 'Inlet' and 'Outlet' are not included. Or at least I didn't see it.

thats a pretty good price for what ur getting...all u need is injectors and safc, fuel pump, oil lines. mayb 500 more for that... other than that you may be buying a completely expensive kit that lags more with NOT alot more power. if its street id get the kit (i have similar setup)

That Turbo Elbow that you circled in that picture looks ok. A few of the other shots suggest that there is casting on the turbo for the other bolts to go in. I think he just threw one bolt in there to mock it up and take some pictures. I dunno. But, on a KA, with that manifold, and using a T25 turbo, with that kind of turbo outlet, you will have to cut the elbow and modify it a bit.You will have to modify it in such a way, as to lengthen it about 2-3 inches(IIRC)... and also tweak it a little so that the Downpipe is closer to the transmission/driveshaft.(I hope you can picture that). I don't have any pictures of my car, but that's what I had to do. I will pull it in the driveway and take pictures if necessary. But I had to tweak the elbow/downpipe because it was hitting the frame rail under the driver seat.

Hope this helps!

I didn't have to modify anything in my kit, it all fit fine. I had a few problems with my ecu from E-mance and it was a pain in the azz, but Jason from E-mance was WAY helpful in making sure I got everything straight. As soon as I get my new turbo put on, I'll be able to see if the ecu issues are straight. I think they are, but won't know for sure till I drive it.I have heard nothing but great things about Jason and his tunes.

Hell, you can gat a t25 garrett for like 120...problem solved.

Buy a good garrett t25 and put it with that kit, call it complete...besides the ellbows.

Just my 2 cents.

hey, I'm a cheap azz college student so I went ebay all the way. "blaspemy" or not, my t3/t4 is on 9psi daily since spring and it's running strong! I think if you take care of they ebay turbos, like getting the .063 orfice (i have one) and don't push them too hard like 25-30 psi @ 500rwhp you should be fine. Even if the turbo blows, you still have everything else that will work fine, then invest in a better t25 or rebuild the chinese one if the housing is still intact.

Yeah, a .63 oil restrictor will keep the pressure in check. I should have left mine in, but I was worried about oil starvation. At the time, I didn't know how much oil pressure a ka engine put out.(up to 80psi). Just get one from Mcmaster Carr for like $12.00 shipped and put in line at turbo and all is good. If it ever does crap out on you, a t25 from an sr bolts right up. Or a gt28.
