I got so damn lucky with this one. ever since I was 8 years old playing Gran Turismo, I've always admired the Z32 model 300ZX, and just this passed December I picked one up here in my hometown in Tucson, Arizona. Despite the killer Arizona heat and sun, this 1991 Nissan 300ZX 2-seater NA was garage kept every time it was home for 21 years by it's caring original owner.

The metallic black paint is immaculate, as is the tan interior, and the rest of the car. I swooped her up for $7,800 with 65,125 original miles. honestly it is the best investment I have ever made. Comfy, fast enough to get a little thrill, and catches peoples eyes everywhere I go.

I'm planning to keep her original and a key example of what this machine was like fresh out the dealership... but of course, gear heads tend to find SOME way to modify... :chuckle:

here she is!

Wow, that's awesome. Sounds great so far. Has the timing belt been changed? With documentation?

thanks! and yeah, the belt, and a couple (not all) injectors were replaced at 61,390 miles.

my only concern so far are the other injectors, i don't know how i can tell if they are the newer style, or the original ones that fail :gotme

if they are the older ones, looks like a plenum pull may be in store sometime this year haha.

That thing is slick!

easy way to tell if you got new style injectors is to pull the connector; if it has a tab you press and pulls off, then you have new style(oval connector). If doesnt have the finger tab and the connector is held by a wire clip then its old style(square connector).

Oh and YOUR WHEELS ARE ON BACKWARDS!!!!!!!

Most people think they need to rotate tires, and that's why they end up like this. You don't rotate tires on a Z32, unless you want to do front to back on an N/A. You don't rotate at all on a TT.

I saw a TT once with all 4 wheels backwards and the 245's up front.

seriously, it is a dream come true. you know I want to get a model version of the IMSA 300ZX-GTS, that was my favorite car to use in Gran Turismo 2 when I was little. haha, and I think my main reason I fell in love with the Z32 in the first place....

and now here I am with this lucky find. nothing beats the 90's generation of cars, especially from Japan.
