That's what I was thinking. I read somewhere that it's somewhat of a gun metal color, but not really sure. I *do* think the matte black ones would look really nice on my red S13.

They are only available in limited fitments in the 15" and 16" sizing. The offsets for the only lug pattern that fits are horrible so we will take no stock into them. They are ment solely for FWD cars at the moment.

Yeah it'd be nice to have good 16" fitments.

could someone suggest a nice-fitting offset for the GN+ in 18x7.5 front and 18x8.5 rear on an s13 hatch with 5-lug? im not trying to have them stick way out from the fenders since i do not plan on getting wide fenders, but id like them to be a little more flush with the fender than the stock wheels. i was thinking the +35 for front and +38 rear? i dont kno.thanks.

edit* forgot to add, i have coilovers also if that will matter.

So, unless my eyes deceive me the Hyper Black is more of a grey-ish gunmetal color? It's so hard to compare how something looks on a monitor to the color in person.

It's kinda a dark silver when light is off it and a bright silver when light is on it.

Basically ... think of a silver base coat with a black pearl over it.

Suggest a ES100 if you want a good tire that will last a whileSuggest a Kumho MX if you want a high grip tire w/ decent wet traction

Mmm.... That Hyper Black color looks delicious! But man, what I wouldn't give for a nice 4-lug, 16x7.5" wheel with decent offsets. (It's a shame TireRack are sold out of those Kosei K1 blanks. )

Does anyone know what the difference between the FN01R and the FN01R-C is? For some reason, the pictures of the FN01R look better to me on the 5zigen site than the C's. How would would whites look on an all black 240 (color I'm planning to get my 240 painted)? Or would black rims on black paint look better?

The GN's look nice, but I am looking for flat colors. I don't want shiny rims since my 240 will be black. I want that myserious driver effect (you just see 2 bright *** lights zoom past you at night). .

FN01R's are forged, and are special order (read: takes months to get) they are also substantially more expensive.

Do you (anyone) know how much the 17x9 +15 wheels weigh? I'm betting they are somewhere around 19-20 lbs. And the 17x10, +25? IIRC, they felt super heavy. 24+ lbs?

17x10 is like 21 lbs. or so ... thats still within a normal weight for a 17x10 wheel. Especially for the price range they are in.

What sort of info do you need?

SPL has seen/owned many sets of these already, in fact both me and Kuah run FN01R-C's on our cars.

oo nice well um are they durable like can it stand a beating at the circuits or pot holes or such? i would hate to accidently nail a small pot hole and find out there already dinged.or would tires and rims combo have something to do with that?

They seem to be pretty durable... just had one of our local customers do a little "offroading" in his S14 with a set of the FN01R-C's and they held up pretty good.

The tire has alot to do with denting wheels, if you keep a proper sidewall size (ie. no rubber band sidewalls) then they will hold up fine even on bumpy roads.

Yeah one thing I've learned is to weigh things, don't guess.

Often the guess is off from what it actually weighs. :-/
