True story, part of the reason I have old school Volks on my car now and not new TE37's. But if someone is hell bent on buying cheap 16's might as well point in the right direction.

IMO instead 0f raising prices when someone comes out with a knockoff companys should lower the prices in order to be more compettitive.

there's a catch

the knock-offs only come in shytty sizes. real wheels have proper widths and offsets.

knockoffs rarely sell -5 or -15 offsets... at any width, let alone 10"

this is starting to become very funny to me. knock-off are good for some one that has little to no budget for wheels, or a complete jdmfanz boy.i encorage some people to buy knock-offs because it gives us JDM elitists, pursuist or what ever you want to call us a chance to buy a true set of rare or brand name jdm wheels. you can buy your self a set of stagered fitment sportmaxxes, drive on them for about a week and think you hot stuffs, then you go to a local car meet and see the same wheels you got on a dodge neon? fail. how many people do you see driving around with work vs kf"s or blitz 03's? close to none.dont be cheap buy real wheels, support true companies.

Those will never come close to the P45R's.

To be honest, if you compared the LMGT4's to all their replica's, the Bee*R wheel looks the best and even beats the original. Just my opinion, though. I think its the fact that there are only 5 lug holes in the center instead of 10 is more visually pleasing to me.

Not sure what sizes they came in though... and it's almost pointless to search since they're so hard to find now.

I find it ironic how people are so damn worried about getting legit high quality wheels to please the elitists, yet in doing so they buy ugly-a** wheels.

Meanwhile, the good looking quality wheels get horded, become rare, and are sold for billions of dollars.

I'll agree about the offset point though, as it does appear that RWD offset wheels tend to be harder to find at the low budget end of the spectrum. I was just trying to find a less common alternative the wheels that I see all the time, however, I can't see spend more money on wheels than on a car, especially when wheels aren't insured.

I COMPLETELY agree. I cannot justify spending more money on my wheels than the entire car is worth. This is just me personally, I know for many its a point of pride to have genuine wheels with genuine intent/quality. Its a bit like collecting shoes, you dont want some chinese Air Jordans, you want the real deal. I am looking for wheels in the 11" wide range for rears and am having a hellacious time finding something that is not $1000 per wheel. We are not even talking tires yet, which will be in the 400ish dollar range each.

Not really trying to complain or anything, I know you have to pay to play. It is just such a vexing subject to find wide wheels with decent offset and backspacing without dropping 4k for rims/tires.

:sigh:

^^^^^ like i've said time and time agian, if you can afford a real set of wheels great,if you can't then buy the fake wheels, but there's no excuse for buying a set of $800 rotas when you can go on rbwheels.com and buy a legitimate set of wheels for the same or less the price of the cheap cast replicas.
