Yikes! Thankfully written in the contract is for them to fix this issue. Pretty sure they had no idea what issue they had on hand since I bought from a Mitsubishi dealer. Strange that Infiniti didn't catch what was going on. I'll be damned if they "clear codes" and say everything is good. I'm going to make sure they give me all repair paperwork.Debonair wrote:Those lights can be bad news. See HERE. Hopefully it's something simple.
Holy crap...lKoRTy wrote:It's a packet of 20+ pages lol I will see what is relevant and will put it up.
Car was good until today, actually, where it wouldn't rev over 3500 rpm (safety mode). Seems to be either MAF, crankchaft or camshaft sensors. It sat in parking lot for 4 hours and when i came back was fine, so not sure what was the issue but will be checking connection of sensors.. Unfortunately from all the trouble I had, I am looking to switch to a qx70 now. That's my next car in line haha.
G35 -> q50 -> m56 -> qx70 ->qx80
Thanks man! Just got word they are replacing everything it looks like you had done. Thank goodness not a dime out of my pocket.lKoRTy wrote:It took couple of days to do the 4WAS controller. Since it was throwing more codes, they did further testing, including calling engineers and voltage checks, etc. All in all took about 10 days to get everything done.
Here are some images of what they did, with what I assume are the codes they pulled:

They said this was extremely rare. Service adviser only saw one other case like this in his career. Time to buy a lottery ticket? lol
Wow....10g!!!! Who did you get your extended warranty from and how much if you dont mond sharing ....as that is one of my concerns , though mine is the 3.7 but damn...either way, ouch but glad it's fixed for youMenofgrace7 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 3:36 pmWell I have a 2012 M56S I purchased Nov. 28th 2018. The car for thre most part was great. A few minor issues like he wiper fluid wasn't coming out and the brakes squeaked and still squeak badly then but not so much now. I found out from Infiniti, when I took it in, that the place where I bought it from put the wrong pads on it. But Now all of my assistance lights like the 4was, iba, lane and road sensors lights are on after a 30 below winter day we had here in Illinois! And they never went off. They've come on before but I saw on YouTube that you just turn the car off and on and they would reset. Well that didn't work. I took it to Infiniti and found out that I need a rear power steering rack/ actuator. Which by the way cost $10000!!!!! Thank God I bought an extended warranty. This seems to be a common problem for these cars. There needs to be a recall on this. (Infiniti)
