dude you still get me....i'm not worried about the block taking that much boost. what i am worried about is the piston and rods?!?! you're telling me VQ30de stock piston's can handle that much power? dude your engine defy phyics...

yeah a Z06 comes with 405hp, HUGE dif from 405whp. keep that in mind. (assuming a reasonable 15% drivetrain loss) compare it in hp, my car has ~560hp vs a Z06's 405. I have run them before at a roll, and it's almost not fun.. I haven't done it with 4 people in the car, but I'd still be willing to put $ on that race haha. a redlight a Z06 I'm sure could jump me driven well, but I am able to pull consistent 2.0-1 60' on stock wheels+tires, so consider that launch and I'm making over 33% more power than one...... ? doesn't take abut a second till it's all bad for him.
My pistons I have found to hold up to ~14psi pretty safely (assuming tuned well enough)... 15+ is where i run into trouble, always from pistons. rods and headgasket, etc dont give me problems, its always pistons. Pretty shocking even to me that a stock 10:1 motor will do that, but I dont complain.
