Well, I made it back to the dyno on the new setup and it went nothing short of awesome. We started out on pumpgas with 15psi, in which I now make 335hp and 319tq when im on low boost and on pump gas. After that we switched and put in the race gas and upped the boost. We would have made more power yet, but since im running a stock ignition, I just cant get it to spark and light up much over 22psi. We made one run at 24psi and it made less power because of there being such little spark. Hopefully with an MSD I will be making 500 out of it.

I must now say though, I almost made the passenger sick to his stomach because the car just pulls so incredibly hard on the highboost and racefuel map, not to mention the back end is stepping out all the way up to 4th gear at 90-100mph.

Here is a link to the dyno sheet.

435rwhp 22psi

this is very impressive. Also, everyone remember this is on a mustang loading dyno. Most people tend to use Dynojets because they yield more horsepower(generally 10 to 15% more). Rick likes the mustang dyno because it accounts for load and is better to tune with a standalone because it will perform nearly the same on the street.Good job anyway!

Hmmm.... Ya know Rick, I would be willing to provide an S13 style distributor so you can run an external coil. Solely for the betterment of the 240 name. All I would want is a chance to see a vidio of the car in action. Hell Ill even host a vidio on my server for ya.

BTW awome numbers man

Much appreciated node, but I am going to just go ahead and spend the money and buy either the MSD Digital 7 or the MSD 10AL, that way I wont have any problems turning the thing over.

The backside of the turbo is a .70 and Q-trim.

Any reason the motor wasn't wound out to 6500 RPM? The HP curve appears to still be on it's way up and may have yielded a bit more peak power.

We werent winding it out because #1 I run stock internals on the head and I dont like to wind it up too high, and mainly #2 which is we were getting misfire above 6krpm.

I had them print out graphs showing fuel pressure, tq, hp, air fuel ratios, rpm, boost etc but I forgot all of them sitting on top of the computer, I will get them as soon as I get back up there.

Anyone got a spare MSD sitting around they wanna sell me? :)

man thats sick, ever thought about aqua mist injection, that way on pump gas you could up it more than 15, at least I would think. what RPM on the street does it spool up? and what about a tubular manifold?

Another high power KA running a log style...Rick, nice numbers bro. I can't wait to be sitting the the 400's myself. Let me know what MSD you go with and how things work out. I'll also be in the market for a new ignition here pretty soon.

Node you have email.

We have 92octane out here and we just played it safe and kept it at 15-16psi.

We made some vids last night, but the tape was dirty so the only video we have is me in a parking garage cussing at the car because I blew off IC piping at 21psi :)

LOL, buy my car...seriously, my car is always for sale, I want to get me a Powerstroke.

I should have some times for you guys this weekend as long as the first event of the season doesnt get cancelled because of inclement weather. Should be solidly into the 11's and depending on the way the car runs and how well I can launch it maybe 10's...:) Theoretically I should be able to run a 10.89 but with my old tune I should have been able to run an 11.89 and only cut a 12.23 so there is 3/10's margin of error on my part.
