come to fl and find out.

every car is different.

i was under the assumption that 400whp out of a stock sr (no cams no pistons no headgasket) pump gas was a prett ydifficult thing to do

oh well

I think this was directed at my post?? Assuming it is, you definatly misunderstood what i was getting at. The point I was trying to make was that drivetrain upgrades like beefier trannys are big budget items, where as the parts you need to get your car up to 400hp arent/can be done in stages. I certainly did not mean to put down a 400hp car.. esp. without cams/valve train work..

sheesh, i think i need to take an effective speaking class..

Yeah this Nissdata system sounds awesome! 400HP in that light of a car is too much for the street IMO. I would be happy with a dyno run of like 275~300 RWHP. I just think when you start crankin 400 horse out of a 200 horse motor, things are gonna start to wear out quick, if not break.

Should I look for a coupe or a hatch? If there an advantage to either one or is it just cosmetic appeal?

Thanks.

Quote »Im not a super street kid. a$$!!! I was just stating that i want a 400+ hp car. im not asking how! I now alot about cars, and if there is something i dont know, i can ask my boss, who owns the performance shop i work at!!!!! we work on alot of nissans, we just got a new motor put in an r32 skyline! I can almost bet i know more about cars than you!. dont flame unless you know the circumstances.........[/quote]

If you know a lot than dont worry about it, but "betting" you know more than me tells me maybey you dont. If all thats the case than why dont you learn how to post more intelligently, a lot of people leave posts like "i want a 400 hp car. What do i do?" and that sounded a awful lot like what you posted. Have a GREAT day, smell the roses.

hehe, in a post about "intelligence", you might want to spell check, just so you dont look like a person lacking intelligence.....

: )

Just a tip for the future ; )

i think most people know its gonna take some work and lots of $$$ to get 400HP out of a 200HP motor.

it doesn't matter who knows more, we are all here to learn from others and give advice to others

huh? I don't think i spelled anything wrong....Unless your counting "dont", (instead of don't)...

and if your referring to when i wrote "maybey"...that was obviously the word he spelled wrong that i was trying to point out....

Please explain yourself a little better for me....because i think that was pointed at me...and yes i did check my spelling : P

People who flame spelling give me a rash on my arse. If the word is so screwed up you cant understand it, then say something. If we are talking a letter or two, turn your chair upside down and sit on it, no one cares about your damn hoity toity letters. Take tommorow off and go ice skating. :)

Why, is that any less wrong than 'maybey'?

For one, it is not actually a spelling mistake....

and 89, i would rather not hear about your rash....

mattYour settings do not accept emails... so here I go on the thread.

I live in Miami FL. Im doing the swap, and was probrably going to buy the S-AFC. If the base model Nissdata system isnt too much over this ( I am a college student) I would rather use the Nissadata. Please contact me so that we can talk about tuning options and maybe about setting up my car with that magical box of awe.....

I didn't have time to read the whole post, it is 5 pages. I didn't get far enough to get a price.

I did get far enough to read that the car made 382 HP on the stock ECU so the Nissdata only made 32HP. I guess you can consider that a lot, but that depends on the price. If you have a 275HP w/o all the mods they had you obviously aren't gonna make 32 additional HP, but it seems like a good system to me.

anyway here is the quote i found for anyone who is interested

"as far as NissData vs. Power FC. The both offer the same level of tuning capability. Nissdata will just do it for a third of the cost for the base package (which i am running)."

quoting enthalpy

so retail on the power fc islike 1400 (apexi)

so this should be like 480ish

kaneda3 "wtf would you not cut and post the "aprox price info" instead of making everyone else look...seriously"

because I can read. Try it some time. It builds character.

For those of you still on the first tape of the "Hooked on Phonics" series, here is the line.

"about 280-1015 bucks depending on the "stage"

This is describing the Hondata system prices which Matt decided to compare his management to.

Thats kinda harsh, I H8 UR DSM, but you can never be too sure in this day and age. Always watch your ***, no one will do it for you.

What are you talking about?

1."cause there is nothing to sell, and nothing to put a price on."

If there is no finished product, they cant sell it, and they cant yet determine a price, if thats harsh, then your a tool...same way as when people see "hotshot SR manifolds coming soon", and ask how much... YOu have to wait till a product is mass produced, and/or put on the market. Even if they were to give you a guess price now, it could change, so just tie your panties, and wait im sure they will come here with some comments, and prices for all of you...

2."only time will tell...i havent seen matt post here in a long time"

again...if you think that was the harsh post?? I havent seen matt post here in a long time, whats the big deal about that?...and only "time will tell" is an answer to the typical newbie "when will it be done"...people have been asking that for 3 years about the KA greddy kit...when will people just realize, you have to wait and see/ and hear...

I dont know who you think you are talking to, and who you are telling to watch their backs....I never said anything harsh, and if i did, it wasnt to you, and im sure the other big boys here can speak for themselves, so get off your internet steroids, and worry about your own a$$ rather than mine.

thanks.

fu<k... Here is a break down of what I meant to say.

cause there is nothing to sell, and nothing to put a price on.

I thought you mean that there wasnt sh*t to sell. My mistake.

Thats kinda harsh, I H8 UR DSM, but you can never be too sure in this day and age. Always watch your ***, no one will do it for you.

This is meant as a buyer beware. Not a cheap shot or a direct hit, just said it as a kinda " take care of yourself". Your misunderstanding stemming from my misunderstanding.

I dont know who you think you are talking to, and who you are telling to watch their backs....I never said anything harsh, and if i did, it wasnt to you, and im sure the other big boys here can speak for themselves, so get off your internet steroids, and worry about your own a$$ rather than mine.

psssttttt......(venting into the atmosphere):D

Your right, you never said anything harsh, again, my misunderstanding. I am a big boy, but I dont think you want to see how big.:D

Also, I quit internet steriods long ago, when I heard they made your keys shrink. And I am worried about my as5, which keeps growing at a pace unknown to mortal human beings (I sit at work all day).

Also, regarding illegal internet contraband, I think that maybe I can supply you with some PAXIL. :D

Hopefully this is now cleared up, and just in case, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

1st of all 180crafteryou quoted someone who obviously has nothing to do with the product in question

2nd that quote is about as narrowed down as Ginny Sack's ***

obviously i can f#ckin readi went back and pulled the quote from the guy designing the damn system enthalpy

i guess you thought you were being helpful by posting a link to a 5 page post mostly filled with complaining and flaming

well if that qualifies as being helpful i feel sorry for those who rely on you
