no, no, it'll run just long enough to make a video or two. Seriously, though, that's an awesome setup, just throw some 370's and a walbro pump on it so you can keep it around for a while.Elbowblk wrote:im not an expert or anything. but shouldnt that thing blow without any fuel management?
The stock injectors on an SR20DET are 370cc, KA24DE is 240cccasper82 wrote:would this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ories
on the injectors ? what the stock cc . the smallest ones i found where 440cc,,,,, i dont know what size to get
370cc SR injectors would require tuning. I highly recommend the Walbro fuel pump though.Wretched wrote:

I found that pretty funny myself.Fish805 wrote:I like how the gas tank flew open haha

I would just get the Walbro, and a FMU (raises fuel pressure per psi) then retard the timing 3*-5*and your good to go.
With the Walbro, 370cc, and an AFC it would cost more, and require time to tune. Plus in my opinion it isn't as safe or as good in the low boost condition you are running.
Do some reading over on the KA-T forum. Lots of information over there.

It would be a KA24E - R, R stands for supercharger, but its added so add the -spooled240 wrote:nice "KA-S"? how much power do you think you're putting down?
i'm sorry for answering for the op but i would recken..ka24e - 140hp5lbs of "supercharged" boost - roughly 10hp per pound of boostand 10hp loss from turning the superchargeri'd say about 180hpspooled240 wrote:nice "KA-S"? how much power do you think you're putting down?
he can get a smaller pulley but will probably be good only to about 8psi. boost is boost but you have to weigh the cons and pros of each.the turbo charger takes no power away from the engine, but the supercharger provides more of an instant boost, no lag.Warped161 wrote:def watching this thread. i like this idea a little more than a ka-t. seems much less expensive, now cant you change the pulley to get more power? also is 15lbs from this the same as 15lbs from a turbo? i know that might be a dumb question.
10hp loss? More like 30% loss, this is the argument between turbochargers & superchargers.HoosierSX wrote:i'm sorry for answering for the op but i would recken..ka24e - 140hp5lbs of "supercharged" boost - roughly 10hp per pound of boostand 10hp loss from turning the superchargeri'd say about 180hp

Everything I read on them is in the KA-T sections. They are generally associated with low budget (aka T25 turbo) builds. I think there is stuff in the stickies over there but I don't have any references off the top of my head. SorryS133P3R wrote:any good references on FMUs DMan II-40?
added 10hp -duh!Mangid wrote:Why did you speed the video up though?
