On the way to D1 new rear end with fan boy boso pipes

Lol, I just realized...you remind me of Chet from Real World Brooklyn in the pic. Anyway, keep up the good work, your whip is tight.

I look like someone who was on the Real World, FML I FAIL

Doin work getting ready for along day of sliding, it was like 7:00 am and the last thing i thought was gonna happen did, my motor was running strong all day

impact240sx, Ya the FD is fun on the highway but gets to be a handful on two lane roads. He usually puts on Mickey Thompson E/T streets for the weekends (he drive's it to work every day he can). I've driven the FD on street tires and its crazy plus my car doesn't have enuf power to get you in trouble that fast.

(and the most obscure) Charlie Quatmann, Missouri, Toyota Tacoma, turbo motor, caged, This truck gets down and this truck was sitting flush with 5 Zigen Fnorc but a wall put an end to that in Chicago

(Function) Rob Fosnaugh, Ft. Wayne IN, Time Attack Car

This is a full road race car that is scary fast, Rob showing that time attack cars can slide to. His entries were close to 100mph while the (fast) drift cars were around 75ish

tho he was going 100mph he could keep the slide the whole day. chuck from st.louis said the same thing about D1,"i had the fastest entry of the day"then his wife follow right behind him with"yep right into the wall"

car looks good, looks even better in person

Ya Rob (the owner of the car) was having a problem linking the course he just started sliding this year but if you saw Bean (Clinton) diving the Fc he was f***ing shredding in it.

I wish i would have had all my s*** together and had my car close to passing spec for D1 im really disappointed for not trying to qualify and drive that event, ex specially since i qualified D1 underground, but theres always next year

dsc4130: Thats so funny you said that because i was walking around at D1 and Danger (Dan) was like why aren't you driving. I told him i didn't have time to add a door bar and other s***, he laughed. He said him and his buddy's just painted his car and add a point to the cage hahaha I didn't even recognize his car. Last i saw it was during a tandem run i had with him and it was that flat tan color. He and DK said i could have passed tech easily minus the door bar. Tell Danger i said what up

240tunerguy: Na its all good that is how the trunk looks now, it was just the wheels and the bed that got f***ed up in chicago, Charlie works on this and other cars nonstop he just banged out the driver side part of the bed that got smashed in.

Ethien161: Ebay hologlitter, there's a thread on Zilvia about it, and it can only be pulled off by aggressive aero drift cars IMO

jpnissans13: yup p45r, the spec's are in this thread

Well i did a compression test and 1,2,4 were good and number 3 cylinder was zero soooo i'm gonna pull the head and see what the valves look like as well as the piston and cylinder wall. I already have the turbo and manifold off and i was pretty happy that the turbo was still in great condition.

On a side note I really wish i was driving Street Life Tour this weekend in Dayton. Good Luck Austin, DK, Mike Pollard, Mike Thung, TR and all you other crazy race car drivers LOL

The block is destroyed in classic SR fashion, the oil ring lands on #3 cracked the piston melted and then chunked and gouged the walls. I don't wana sleeve or over bore so i just pick up another stock bottom end that had a knock and i'm gonna take the 2 bad and make 1 good bottom end. I don't like building motors but this saves me alot of money which is good

Thats the venue we are given and it teaches people higher speed 3rd gear entries with out season ending crashes and because smashing a chassis is stupid. Its one thing to tap a wall but when people are learning and flicking their car at a wall at 70+ mph things get sketchy real fast. I do agree that sliding close to walls is more fun but theres a time and a place

some minor wall action

So i have a s14 project car currently that i would like to start drifting and some other motorsports with. I live in milwaukee.

Are there enough drift events a season to justify this? Where would i get information on where and when?

eidk: Yes there is always enuf drift events, you might have to drive kinda far sometimes but its worth it

check out http://www.clubfr.net/forums/ they hold events and their also one of the main sites for midwest drifting.

I know Elko in Wisconsin does some sliding stuff. Just find out were some drift days are and go. Alot of people act like you need to be part of some secret group to learn to drift. Go to a d-day and beat on your car and have fun you'll probably meet some down a** people
