don't wear skinny jeans cuz my knots don't fit haha JK, skinny just don't take it overboard.i dont really use the e-brake that much, just for more angle or to scrub off speed, just learn to clutch kick at first

have you drifted in lighter wheels beside the rota's because i want to know how hard it take to get them spinning unless you know how much they weight then problem solve. Also is your motor stock internals or did you do something special to it.

My bone stock KA spun my rotas all day long. Granted they were 16's, but as long as your engine is healthy it shouldn't have a problem spinning 17's. Just get a smaller tire, less contact patch = easier to spin. I run 195's on my 8j rotas.

High tire pressure is your friend 70 psi, that and commit 2 it, throw that s*** hard and stay in the throttle you'll be fine.

Yup pretty much stock Cosworth HG, ARP studs, Greddy RAS, but its not gonna be stock now haha FAIL

that would be great if you can post up some more pix and what are the specs on your suspension and are you running vlsd, clutch, or phantom?

Apex N1 coils 16 clicks front and rear, not to hard not to soft for my driving style, 3 degrees of negative camber in the front and thats about it. welded diff gets the job done, stock clutch i believe never had the trans out i"ll find out soon enuf tho.

I'll post some more pics of some of the other cars that slid at the event later. There's a couple random cars i want you guys to see

Not sure about the REAR camber angle i basically adjusted it just to tuck the wheels/tires, but im changing the rear set up soon because of way to much uneven wear during sliding and to accommodate a few new items.

(Fashion) Brian Nackers, Chicago Land (Rockford) ,ClubFR

Scraping stock rockers mid drift because he can. And you think your low

(Function) Rob Fosnaugh, Ft. Wayne IN, Time Attack Car

This is a full road race car that is scary fast, Rob showing that time attack cars can slide to. His entries were close to 100mph while the (fast) drift cars were around 75ish

I'm just gonna rebuild the motor (sr) but stronger kinda depends on whats wrong with it. gonna go Forged bottom end most likely. I also have another avenue i might go but thats kinda a secret

Ya the purple car is in New Jersey this weekend for D1. I just talked to Derek King (the purple car) and he was killing it all day but during qualifying he miss the up shift into 3rd on the last sweeper twice in a row. He was pretty bummed but whateves. I was really surprised because he is such a consistent driver but it happens to the best of us. He said that the first entry was gnarly for lower powered cars (hes stock SR) but he had it lock down for qual.

Heres a pic from last weekend in Indiana, the event were i blew my motor

The FD has a large single turbo set up, a very aggressive port job on the rotor housing, The setup is kind of a hush hush situation plus its not my car to tell so sorry. This FD would eat up the Time attack FC i posted up earlier but it doesn't have a very usable power band. Different cars different applications but both very fast and when i say fast i'm NOT talking about 450hp or stock ZO6 fast i mean scary to drive and if your not scared then your just stupid. Not good quality video but you get the idea FD Tony Magnum and the EVO is my boy James. Team Fuzion hurting feelings (sorry were JERKS)

FD vs 715whp WS6 vs 636 Ninja http://www.youtube.com/user/go...1xpCg

EVO 9 vs Cammed C6 Corvette http://www.youtube.com/user/go...h1O2c

Oh ya and by the way the V8 guys always wana go from a roll (p****'s) we do this s*** from a dig, but you gotta give alittle when your about to take some ones money

That vid of the FD and the bike is rather nuts. I wish my car was that fast.

That JDM vid of the drifting is CRAZY they just all throw in to the same turn all at once and practically scrape paint.
