HAHAHA, one of the things with PS3 is that the stock controller doesn't have rumble anymore...and I couldn't care less. I saw some articles making a deal out of it and was confused.xekushnr wrote:Yeah, its the same way with vibration with me. I usually turn that **** off right away. I dont get how making the controller vibrate at one of two speeds is suppose to immerse me in the game more. All the shooters I play I have the vibration turned off. It probably will be the same with GTA.
I'm getting the Ps3 version, reasons beingbmike818 wrote:I know most of you own both systems. Which version would you buy? Why?

I'm not so sure. The official word is that its EXCLUSIVE downloadable content. If it was timed exclusive, I think it would be worded differently. Also, $50M doesnt make sense for a timed exclusive. Many people (including me) think that paying $50 million on DLC is pretty damn high even if it will stay only on the 360. Being that its that much money, I would think it will stay on XBox. I wouldnt be surprised if the PS3 gets something though, just wont be those episodes. But who knows. The game industry is bigger than movies now, so anything could happen.Hijacker wrote:If I remember correctly, Microsoft procured rights for the DLC exclusivity. Sony did a similar thing for each GTA release these past 7 years. They procured console exclusivity for x-amount of time. I bet you'll see all the same DLC features pop up for the PS3 in the future.
Kinda what I was thinking, I mean...to compensate for the loss of revinue from NEVER EVER being able to sell PS3 DLC Microsoft would have to put up A LOT of money....I'm sure the pile was plenty large but I can't see it being that big.Hijacker wrote:I bet you'll see all the same DLC features pop up for the PS3 in the future.
The $50 mil is for 2 exclusive episodes, no more, no less. So no, I DONT think the PS3 will see the episodes, but obviously the PS3 will get something in the form in DLC I would think. It doesnt mean that R* cant do any other DLC, they just cant offer those episodes on PSN. Thats why I think the $50 mil is a pretty big number for two episodes, even if they are exclusive (which I believe they will be).Morph wrote:I think we cant get the same content as the 360, and ms would have to have paid much more than 50mil to kee R* from releasing more content for its own IP.
Your article? Thats not even close to what it says. It actually says the exact opposite. Maybe you were reading something else?Morph wrote:From what that article says the episodic content is not exclusive to the 360 its a timed exclusive so maybe in a few months we get the same stuff.
I didnt call you an idiot or anything, I was just pointing that out.Morph wrote:OH MY GOD FORGIVE ME FOR MIS READING JEEZE.

Now you know how I felt trying to explain how I feel about Last Stand killers lol...I wasnt pissed, just frustrated that no one got and/or felt the same about what I was saying. Beer + weed is awesome for curing this.Morph wrote:
