The Q is great in traffic. Comfort and power to inch up whenever traffic allows! My house is in Montgomery County, eight miles up the river from the beltway through Potomac, into North Potomac.

no problem about the brakes....I know Sherwin (brake guy) was out all week long last week with back issues. Apparently he has a really bad back and went to have a couple MRI's done to see what is wrong.

redmanfx....glad to hear you got the valet cap as a souvenir and I think that I will pass on the offer to make another dent. If this keeps up I might as well buy a used q45 with a staight body and just transfer all my mods over to the car and then sell my old car.

Montgomery county is where all the Political people of DC and MD live. Ritzy in some areas. Lot's of snobbish kids with expensive toys as I recall. You can find almost any kind of car there. Sweet for car lovers. And the PoPo too. I bet the taxes there are still going up. It's beautiful in the fall driving down some of those Mont. cnty roads.

Rob, it will all work out for you. Your just too dedicated not to have some good luck soon. Transinducent mediforicle monotonous manipulation can change everything my man.....

red.

Was there anything in having 4 Infiniti, five cars total for my wife and I that doesn't fit the "expensive toys" category. Oh, that's right, I just bough another Q that I haven't mentioned to my wife yet.

Now for the TCS Diff Pics

Notice the finely toothed gear on each side with the traction sensors...this is a lot different than the other model

my Valet damage from last night....

I got an estimate from the two Infiniti dealer body shops here in Miami...both about equl....$593 vs. $625 I was surprised how close they were in estimates and I thought that it would be higher...at least $750. Well I now have over $1,000 from the valet company towards a new paint job as they did similar damage to my car about a month ago and I got $350 for it.

Car will be repainted this summer and done with all accessories, moldings, etc removed before painting. I know that there will probably be several molding items that will break during the paint job that will cost more...but I want it done correctly and after I get all the mechanics and performance mods working good.

all I have is a panasonic camera phone...one of the first ones on the market. I am going to get a new camera phone as the new ones have zoom and more pixels so the pictures will be larger. Sorry...but this is the best I can do for now. Maybe if the valet did not wreck my car I would have more time to stop at the cell phone store vs going around getting repair estimates.

my now new core that I hope is the right one is now on its way to California to be rebuilt into a tire blazing bad a$$ 4.08. Duaine's is also on its way to Maryland.

I got this new rearend off the only car here in the Miami salvage yards that had a 94-96 with TCS....I went through over 15 yards and they are all located in the same place on the same street. Makes things very easy to drive around and find parts, but it is off of Opa Locka Blvd...the worse area in all of Miami. A poor guy yesterday had a car fall ontop of his very new Volvo. They had stacked these cars up high (3 on top of each other) on a flat bed to be taken to the scrap metal grinder down the street and as the flat bed truck made the turn...there went the top car falling right onto this guys volvo....damage the whole drivers side and roof. He could not open the drivers side doors. He was pissed and funny thing from the looks of the damage I don't think his car would be going very far....probably was staying right there to be turned into a salvage car...Roof was all caved in. The guys told me that they do this all the time....stack these cars up high and transport them from the salvage yard less than a mile down the street to the metal grinders without any straps or ties downs.....I can't believe how dangerous it was around there.
