i thought to myself one day.... a/c headlight and 350z headlight are pretty much the same shape. would it really b that hard to do a 350z headlamp conversion?? i had a proj retro done to my frontier and planning one for the a/c. 350z lights look awfully similar in shape and i'd have a nice HID proj setup.

what are yalls thoughts??? i mean i don't think it would look completely gross right???

I had thought that before when looking at the 350Z and A/C on the front of the Stillen Mag. It looks similar but I bet the mounting locations are way off and the Bumper, Fenders and Hood would prob. have gaps. Otherwise I am sure someone would have done this by now.

I don't theink the two look alike at all! They mount completely differently! They don't flow the same, and the contours are copletely diferent! This will never work!

well of course i know the mounting would b all screwy but i thought the general shape of it was SIMILAR. it would just b nice if i could mount some nice proj in my headlamps. i'm still up for my own custom retro though....

This is the picture I was talking about..... The General Headlight SEEM to be similar. I am not saying it can be done, but I see where he got the idea.

hmm, maybe I misunderstood the OP.. since you mentioed sizes and shapes being similar, it looked like you were saying that with slight modification, you could fit the 350Z headlight into our coupes... and given the actual differences in bumpers, fenders and hoods between the two, I would say it would require more than SLIGHT modification.

if you're talking doing a retrofit, wel that's different. Almost anything can be retrofitted to resemble something else if the person has the skill to do so.

BUt again, if you're talking retrofitting the 350Z headlight housing into the A/C.. I say no, it can't be done and look clean.. not without some serious serious custom work!

^^^ looks good

and also, rjdmmfl1, i was talking about a conversion. i rly haven't looked at the 350z and a/c side by side so it was just an idea.

as for the retrofit, thats diff. i deff could retro any projectors which i hope to do soon. just need to find a good retrofitter in the area. maybe when income tax refund comes in :/

ahh, well for a conversion, I'm pretty sure it could be done! I think grystrm or brandon could do it no problem... for the right price of course

of course!

i guess i wouldn't mind sending them off, but i would b nice to have them in the area. i like the dual proj setup in the custom headlamps they have been doing and they look super sexy. my friend did my retro in the frontier and they look sweet but they could've been done a lot better. its just too bad that the lens didn't come off when he baked em. they were attached very well. i'm just debating on what proj i want in them.

any1 know where i can get new headlight assemblies for a decent price? everythingnissan.com and the dealer are kinda pricey buuuuuuut if thats my only resort then be it.

This isn't the brady bunch dude. You made an ignorant comment, and I responded to educate. I don't see it as a professional matter, I told you how it was.

I made a comment which was my opinion thats a part of forums.....then you made a ignorant slap in the face comment to me...u are in a position that you should not feel the need to do so but for some reason you feel the need to...im guessing a age is a issue here.

and i thought it was the brady bunch which one are you? Greg or the gay dad?

Dude. Shut up! Mod or not, we're entitled to our opinion. Your 2nd comment was just a sarcastic slap in the face.

1) The saggy bumper is sad. Good job Stillen 2) If it was designed that way, say then be quiet because you made an a$$ out of yourself.

I think it's sad that the Alti community is constantly trying to break away from what they're cars are and become something else. Just like the 350z who asked if he could put a G35 spoiler on his car.

I recently saw the double/triple light setup on a Z and was impressed. I still like my G lights, but in the end, I never see them, so it doesn't matter.

OP, you might want to be a little more clear about what it is you're planning on doing. Are you trying to keep your original housing and force the Z projectors in there? I know you won't be able to take a Z light and "slightly modify" it to fit on your A/C.

You made a comment about the dudes bumper in a headlight conversion thread. Thats a blatant off the wall attack, and there was no reason for it. Just because I'm a mod doesn't mean I can't say what I want. It just means I have more sh*t to take care of.

Better believe this bro. I had the exact same attitude and outlook on things before I came a mod, and based on that, I was placed in this position. So, why would I need to change my demeanor? And to attack my age, thats just sad
