^ its only natural they want to mod their car to make it more like a car from a higher price point. I mean no offense by this but essentially the altis are doing what the 240 people do. borrow other "better" car's parts and make them work on their own. i dont see the downside unless it looks terrible lol. Which in this case it could, but ill have to see it before i pass judgement.

Haha, my poor bumper was brought up more times in this thread than the 350z headlights.

Yes, it sags, even after modification. If someone can lend me an idea as to how to fix it that, that would be great.

Leave my car alone. If you like, Vovino, look up my own thread and bash my car anyway you want. Matter of fact here it is, flame away:

http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=359132

Has anyone gotten a close look at the 370z headlights? I'm interested in how the new projector setup looks.

I'll take a look at your bumper if you're at the 13th meet.

Dumb a$$ post # 2

Two dumb a$$ posts we have here, these two post couldn't be more queer,Why are they dumb, well let me see, I'll try to respond intelligently...

1st... how is it sad that the Altima community wants to mod their cars. The purpose of modding a car is to make it look like something different. i.e., not look like it did fresh off the factory floor. That may not be something you (Sentient) understand since your car is about one of the most bone stock looking G's I have ever seen, but for the rest of us, yes we want our cars to look different. EVERYBODY mods their cars. Modding a car is designed to make the car look different. If another car has a nice setup (like the Audi LED's or S2000's projectors) then yes, folks may go for that look, but that doesn't mean they are trying to turn their cars into the other car (except maybe the Nissan A/C owners that put G35 wheels, spoilers, and emblems on their cars.. that is definitely trying to make their car look like a G) But to say you find it sad that folks change their cars from factory is just ridiculous!

2nd, to respond to brizanden, it has nothing to do with making the car look like another car from a higher price point. If you are talking specifically about the 350Z, then that statement is both ignorant and false. A 3.5 loaded A/C cost around 32K, a 350Z costs, what, 34-36K.. not a huge difference dude. Its not like folks are trying to turn their cars into ferraris. So one of your first posts in the A/C forum is to throw slight jabs by saying folks are borrowing from "better" cars... its just unecessary, and its not factually correct. I guess if we were borrowing from "worse" cars, then that would be grounds for ridicule also. So let's see, we can't borrow from "better" cars, and we can't borrow from "worse" cars, so its only ok if we borrow from "equal" cars as defined by Sentient and brizanden...

seriously, you should both think before you post... you dudes are clowns!

Easy fellas, I dont even see what the argument is about... Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and all that NICO asks is that it be done in a tasteful manner. I dont want to see anyone attacking anyone else.

Can we please keep on topic.

GryStorm has been missing in action... low and behold i can see him posting a thread with this exact mod done, and then slip back into the darkness!

really? ur an *** lol. i was not belittling altimas at all. i was just saying people like to borrow from other cars especially of the same company. Im not saying its bad or good. i know headlights are not the same exact thing, but similar to the idea of 240 guys wanting 300zx brakes or skyline lights. im just saying to sentient that people like to change their cars. way to get defensive tho. Also i have occasionaly posted on alti forums so you are the one that needs to stop being ignorant.ps yes i was saying the z is a better car then a alti coupe even a 350 . If were gonna argue samantics comparing a base z price point to a loaded 3.5 coupe is hardly fair. im just saying.

i think its funny how things like this will happen in these forums, there is no need for anyone to belittle anyone else or just plain be an *** for no reason. we all post on here because we want to share with each other and learn more about our beautiful a/c's. and these problems originate from both regular posters and mods as well, i think that if someone is putting themselves out there and showcasing anything or asking a question, than the only criticism that should come of it should constructive and not negative, just my 02.,

btw i dont post to often but ive been looking at this forum for a year now and i think its great and helped me a lot in modding and learning about my car. nico is a great place and i dont think this negativity belongs in these forums

um ok well im personally offended by this car lol,

but anyways all im saying is there is a difference between constructive criticism and negativity. in the case of this post if you dont agree EX: no these headlights wont work unless you get retrofitted, OR you could go the other route and say something like no wtf are you thinking, what a stupid question

Its more like someone should do a conversion to the 370z headlights...now that would be one hell of a challenge.
