Hello everyone.

I've read the poor man's BBK setup and tried doing the same. I fit the rears fine, not the fronts. Here is the source: http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/2007-2 ... iy-11.html

I ordered the Power Stop calipers since they come in already painted red. S2870A. Why? Well it mentions in the source that they would fit so that's what I did. Well, to my luck they don't fit. Yay. So I go on the FB page and find out that someone else actually ordered the same part and got them to fit. WTF? His is a 2010 Nissan Altima SR. Let's look at this.

The guy ordered the same part: Image

The guy fits in just fine: Image

I try to fit it in: Image

Maybe I ordered the wrong part number? Nope. I ordered S2870A from two different place. One from same place as him and another from somewhere else. Neither fits. Then I found this link: brakemotive-powder-coated-calipers-t596347.html which indicates that S2870B is the one that actually fits in. Who sells that part? Almost no body. Except one website without even a price, I have to call.

Now while I go pull my hair out, I hope someone out there has some info for me.

You ordered the wrong part. You need to order the g35/m35 front calipers. The 370z/g37 front and rear calipers fit the 4th gen altima as well.

That is the G35 caliper. Same one for the 350Z. How can it fit for him but not me?

Everything I've read says the g35 & 350z calipers are different.

If you read the Poor Man's BBK it says that it might fit from the 350Z 06+ same with G35.

I got the S2870. They have the same holes and are practically identical to the S2870A. Not sure why they even have one. Ordered the S2870B from CarID and will see if it fits. The rear fits in nicely but now I kinda feel like the front is lacking lol.

Sweet. Thank you for putting this together. I researched Power Stop and wondered if they are any good since they sell fairly cheap on RockAuto. I do not go on track as you, so they should be just fine for me for now.
