Yeah, you might as well buy the turbo from them as well.

Why do you have to ruin the fun.

SSAutochrome has a horrible reputation but Rhombus used to run a modified SSA Top Mount Manifold with his T66 and made 637whp. Think all he did was fabricate some braces and change to a larger wastegate and T4 Flange.

that looks really good. so with that mani did he have to cut the flange off and re weld it? or thats the way it came and he added supports?

It came with the 35/38mm Wastegate Flange and he used that. He just added bracing to the runners and went from the T3 Flange to a T4 Flange for his T66. I correct myself, he made 669whp. lol.

I think comparing SSA to Megan is giving SSA a lot of credit haha.

Megan manifolds aren't the best (so I hear) but I'd take one any day over a SSA.

If you want a SSAC top mount manifold i have one thats already modified to fit with a down pipe i made that im willing to sell for a reasonable price. The down pipe isnt that pretty but it works pretty good. Email me at [email protected]

Wow, didn't realize until today I got told .

To the OP you really don't even need a top mount mani to make that kinda power. Check out Codyace's thread on the gt2871r making 400+whp with the STOCK manifold. Although it is extrude honed, so it flows better.

Ink: I don't have a 669 horse ssauto mani powered sr for sure. But I do have a little bit of knowledge on fluid dynamics. And that manifold on ebay is nowhere close to being efficient. Will it flow, yes, will it cause boost surge considering the angle and direction of the wastegate tube...mmaaayyybbeeeeeeeee.

So will it be worth the money? It will be precisely worth what you're gonna pay for it, cheap. That's the moral of my story.

And besides, 240s still have a loan value of $1000, and you won't need full coverage insurance to put a lean against your car for that little amount. Boom, pay $100 a month for a year and you have a full race or similar manifold.
