Now whether or not anyone actually bought a BASE? who knows!

For racing a base would be sweet! But then why have an Infiniti if you are not going to have a Sunroof (unless your 6'5")?
.

the loaner i had Jeff must of been a Journey... It had the sunroof changer and ac vents in the back... I thought the Journey came with the Bose too and it didn't have that!

You can get Bose on the Journey if you buy the PREMIUM PACKAGE. I don't have BOSE in mine. The stock stereo is great! If I had Bose before I probably would want it again but since I never had it why get hooked LOL.

I bought a Journey with no other options because I wanted the lightest G35 with a moon roof.

There was a dark blue X with NAV and Premium package at another dealership for $4k more then my Journey. I drove it a couple times but it did not feel as fast as the Journey. My salesman remembers me on sight by name I guess it was a memorable test drive :-)

Watch that video I posted and tell me the Z should be faster then the G.
In 07, they adopted a new standard for measuring HP which actually measures a little lower than the old method. Some estimate, the difference is close to 15 HP in the 300 HP range. In either case, the HR Actuallly has more than 6 HP over the rev-up VQ's. And it's likely, the HR has a slightly broader torque curve as well which would likely result in a higher mean HP output. Mean HP is far more important than peak HP alone...

Stock for stock maybe...but a modded RevUp coupe will have a nicer torque curve than stock and a bump in power as well. When I had an 07 sedan for a loaner, it felt slower than my 05. Thinking it was me, I asked my wife and she agreed. I really need to get my car on a dyno.

so if the coupe beats the Z then the sedan is the fastest and every one should have one!

Coming from owning a 350z, G35c and now a G35s Sedan - I can tell you the difference in speed is negligible between a G35c and a 350z. Yes I'm sure the newer 350z (306 hp) is quicker, just as my G35 sedan (same engine) is quicker than both my coupe and 350z - however there is much more to consider.

While I really liked my 350z it just wasn't comfortable to drive everyday. Plus, as someone mentioned there is no backseat. The 350z was also very loud inside and the interior materials (in my opinion) are cheap looking.

I would definately recommend a G35c or sedan - you can't go wrong.

Best of Luck,

J
