Don't worry I noticed it.seang wrote:I thought for sure someone would recognize what I posted, other than "it was orange." Or am I the only one who finds it flattering? That's a Parnelli Jones Saleen Boss 302, sucka. Watts linkage, 390+hp N/A DOHC stroked out 281 to a 302, we're talking some f***ing muscle.
Agreed. On a side note about camaros, I heard they may be switching to a smaller platform in a couple years rather that just reusing the Australian/Holden platform. It's as if America finally wants to make good cars again, I would say this could be a serious contender against the Z with the same price and about 80 more horsepower.ILOVESILVIA(S13) wrote:
I dunno about that. The Camaro is rather bulky, even by todays standards. It gets by and may indeed have a better chassis, but the Ford outperforms it in the handling department. The July 09 issue of C/D has a comparison of the two and this was a major talking point of the article.MinisterofDOOM wrote:It's about friggin' time, too.
I'd still rather have the Camaro, as it is superior in the Chassis department (in my eyes, the Camaro is now a sports car, where the Mustang is still a pony car). But I definitely wouldn't mind having a Mustang to park next to it.

As for the 30mpg claim, I'll believe it when I see it. Ford also claims the Ecoboost gets 25mpg and that's a straight crock of crap.
I find it hard to be impressed by the Genesis when the Mustang and Camaro offer so much more for the same price. Let's break it down:2the40 wrote:Eh... my Genesis got 29 mpg consistently on the highway when I drove down to Knoxville last month.
If we're talking highway only, I believe the Mustang's 30mpg claim. Combined will still only be 20-22, though.Mr1der wrote:hell, a Panther Vic will get about 27 on the highway..
Yeah, what I'm getting at.2the40 wrote:The V6 Gen is really more of a match for the Mustang V6 honestly.
