Ive got a 93 na 2+2. I went to capitol raceway in odenton Md the past friday and ran my z for the very first time. I spun my tires to get a good smoke and heat, and i will say the track did feel different than roads. I just paid attention to my shifts, and came out with 14.430 on the quarter mile. I raced a 94 mustang v8, he said it was a 302 or something like that. his was a 15.715. My rt was some butt, but then again it was my first time. rt was .475 and his was .069. Im sorry I cannot post the ticket I got, I dont know how to post the picture. Ive been told that the stock na gets 15.6ish and the stock twin turbo gets about 13.8.. My mods are: apexi intake filter, top speed headers, and no mufflers. ( they blew up) id post pics of that too but dont know how. I just got my cats, and resonators on the h pipe.

The mods next on the list are an actual cat back exhaust by top speed with a non resonated x pipe, megan racing test pipes, RPS lightweight aluminum flywheel segmented, one piece aluminum/steel driveshaft, and a CZP Eprom, and I think all that will put me under the 14's. Note i do not have drag radials.

Anything else Im missing please add on. I was thinking about a lightweight underdrive pully, but I dont want to put the stress on the crank, and the one with the harmonic balancer is a bit expensive. and I need my accessories.

I just have been diagnosed with rod knock and bearing spun due to dent in oil pan and had no idea i was burning oil because my oil change yesturday morning i only pulled out 1 1/2 - 2 qts... so now I need a motor. Once I put on the top speed cat back with non resonated x pipe, test pipes with electric exaust cutouts at the elbows of the mufflers so there is reduced restriction, alum lightweight flywheel and flywheel, lightweight underdrive pulley and a czp eprom I will most likely be beating a stock tt and will prob be getting mid to high 13s

How are you doing this? I've driven more than a few NAs and non of them ever seemed quite that quick (they are not fast). You must have a really good condition car and a hell of a lot of time at the strip. Good job.
