Sounds like the passenger footwell light? If so, it simply twists off counter-clockwise. You may need pliers to pull the bulb - careful not to shatter the glass.

it just wouldnt hold charge ,battery is one year old ,
Are you saying the battery won't hold charge and that's why it isn't starting? If so then it's possible that light is draining it but just removing the bulb might not solve the problem. I would check all the fuses first, but it could be a bad ground draining the battery.

i tried to turn it off dont know if i got it done though. what else you guys think might be preventing the car from starting. i boght it and was running fine , that night i noticed the alarm light plus the one under the glove box stayed on , next day it wouldnt start , i tried to jump starter but not luck , today i put the battery from my tt which is good , all the lights came on and it tried to turn but nothing , and then just nothing which is weird , previous battery was one year old ,i took it to autoparts and they say its dead there was an amplifier that i unplugged . So i thought on the alternator but lights did come on , maybe starter but it was trying to turn , what you guys think? its hard to believe a one year battery goes so fast thanks , i checked the fuses too , they are all good

^ Yes. Try uplugging the security controller near the ECU and see if it starts.

Does the car start when you jump it or no?

no , i will take a shot with the satrter tomorrow and test and maybe cables too which its weird cuz it was running just fine , although in the process of replacing the battery i noticed one of the wires on the positive its not to tight , still makes me nut that one year old battery goes bad , and then , why on the first try lights came on the cluster and second try not?
