True...the exhaust is really what seperates the price range for Stage III...my Stillen Dual Tip exhaust cost around 1000 dollars or so...there is no other ECU out there besides JWT. Stillen has theirs but it is basically JWT's with Stillens name on it. Stage III probably is the most popular stage because any higher and the price really starts to escalade...actually make that about Stage IV Underdrive pulleys, downpipes, and test pipes aren't really expensive, but the 555cc FI, Dual Pop chargers, Cams, Intercoolers, and new turbos really get up there.

The 3000gt VR4 transmission is ****. its a getrag 6spd that costs $7-$8k to replace and the factory doesnt give any warrenty on them. plus, mitsu. engines suck, they dont last very long. a friend of mine said her friends mitsu is always breaking down. its not worth any thing that they say they can do.

and for the FC comment, yes they are nice, but they require a lot of maintence too. the rotary engine is one bad mofo, till it explodes. they dont really ever stop reving till they blow up. thats one reason they didnt sell to good over here. but they can be built up to handle a decent amount of HP and still last, its just not cheap. but they do out handle our cars and the power-to-displacement ratio is rather nice.
