3" Exhaust on NA KA

My friend does not belive me that a 3" exhuast on an NA KA is not too big. There are dyno graphs proving it. if you know where they are please post them. Also if Insanity,Inc can chime in here with his explanation of the fallacy of "Backpressure" it would be appreciated.
