yes that is right the oil compnays are getting ready too shut down those Refinerys for a scueduled matinance at the time when summer blend gas is required for cleanner air in So. Cal

I think $3.00+ for gas is out of control and just shows how greedy oil companys are espcially with ****ty quality gas and high prices and poor service.

HaH! diesel is more expensive here then unleaded. And just to make you jealous, $1.69 for hi-test. Not bad for DC.

The cheapest that I have been able to find is 2.26 for 91 octane at a 76 station in Sun Valley. Summer isn't even here yet though. We are still pumping the winter brew into our car. The whole deal about manufacturers having to change over to a different process is a load of crap. They make so much freakin cash that they could keep the prices the same, and maybe lose 1-2% of their profit for the year. Granted that's a couple millions dollars, but who cares? People are getting millions of dollars to throw a freakin ball to each other. It's not like a couple million dollars is a lot of cash to anyone other than those of us who are looking at paying $3 a gallon.
