I'm a new owner and I'd like to drop our Rogue a little. All the posts I see are for '08-13 and nobody seems to offer anything for the 2014+. Since its the CMF platform I'm assuming there is no crossover Nissan model that I could use springs for? I know I saw some mention of Versa and Maxima springs on the older ones but with it being thrown in with Renault I assume the suspension setup is completely different than any other model? I know the Qashqai and X-Trail share the platform but I don't see much of anything yet for any of the CMF platform.

Hi Macedawg, welcome to NICO! I've merged your question with an existing thread on this subject.

This thread is on an 08-13 Rogue, there's no mention of 2014+ anywhere in it. Is there a particular reason I can't make my own post about my specific model? Mine is a completely different chassis and year model so none of this is relavent to mine.

Well, no but it would help to clarify matters if you had said this is for a second gen Rogue. Saying 2014+ is pointless as the first gen model is still on the market.

So, you don't think anything in this thread will be of use? Really?

I thought the title beginning with "2015" would have clarified it. With a completely different chassis and suspension setup info on an older model is not particularly helpful on mine. Any info on the suspension of a first gen isn't going to help with questions about my second gen if they aren't the same. Is the only carryover the Select model I assume? That would be the only confusion I could see. Mine is a 2015 SV 2WD, I could edit my original post but that won't help if it's been moved. FWIW I have already called H&R and they didn't have any plans to offer any springs on the second gen so that's why I posted a new thread after finding no info searching here or on the web.

Separated back out and re-titled.

No, because the first gen is still being sold as a 2015 model. Yes, it's now referred to as "Select", but we don't always catch what model people are trying to seek help with when they simply say 2014 or 2015 (we can thank Nissan for the confusion). :tisk:

I am with you on trying to find any lowering springs or coilovers for the second gen rogue. Been looking for almost a year now...the closest thing I've found recently was a japanese guy on instagram that had rims on an X-Trail....and it was lowered! I messaged him hoping that he speaks english and he tried to tell me that they are coilovers made by a Japanese brand called IDEAL. I searched high and low for this brand and found nothing. Maybe you could help as well. I think it was tough to search for this brand because of the definition of the word "ideal." Here is a photo of his and his buddy's vehicle....I'm so jealous!

I see an x-trail listed but even with the page translation it's hard to decipher. Looks like it is for a 2wd but the years I see is like '03-07. It also says T30 which I assume is the chassis code and I think the second gen Rogue is a T32? Definitely good a good find and awesome pics. Somebody out there has to make something it's just going to be overseas and hard to find. Lol

I have H&R Lowering springs on my 2015 Rogue SL 2wd... I stayed up days doing my research, Because my rogue is fitted with 22's and I had to get rid of that gap between of the fenders.

But you have to buy it for a 2014 X-trail T32, or if you have a AWD it would be 2014 X-trail NT32

H&R product code: 28814-4
http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performan ... rs-35-40mm

Bought mines on Ebay with free shipping for 292.74 good ole american dollars

I got about 1.5in down in the front and 1.7in in the Rear.
I also have Eibachs Pro alingment kit to fix the camber issue.

Yes I have 22 But its not kind of ghetto suburb 22's.. nice and flush

NOTE: RSR and Eibach also make thems for the X-Trails.. but not as low as the H&R

Actually my grill, and Fog Bezels were prepped and painted, luckly I walked up to a shop that just got done painting a black car. got it done for like 50 USD

My headlight and Tailights were modded by me in my garage and kitchen. with a good old high temp rattle paint can. No leaks same visibility at night.

Headlights I just added more rubber Bulypol to seal it up. And the tail lights were plastic welded back together.

All chrome accent pieces will be ripped off and painted black in the near future... to hot in Texas to be d!ck around with a car.

That is pretty cool. Nice work. The first thing I actually thought about doing when I first drove the car off the lot was opening up the tail lights and painting all of the chrome accents black a' la Grand Cherokee Altitude, but I decided it wasn't worth the effort.

Regarding the lift springs... I'm a pretty resourceful dude, and I haven't found anything yet. Let me know.

Looks awesome man. Good stuff.

Could you do me favor and take a pic of the fender to wheel clearance or better yet, measure it. I want to know how wide I can go. (It looks like you have about 10-15mm of room before you would rub) Thinking of throwing on some 20x10's with eibachs.

Also which PN# alignment kit did you get and from where?

Thanks

Just browsing to see if anyone has lowered a 2015 Rogue yet. I'm not showing anyone is making a lowering kit. What are people doing?
