Good to know. I'm taking it there in the morning and will insist on this.Rogue One wrote:Blind Spot and Lane Departure Warning Failure. They may tell you to keep the camera clean, keep the washer fluid full, and take anything chrome or shinny off the car around the camera area. It's a BS answer. The dealership will have to re-calibrate the System with special targets Nissan should have supplied to the dealership.
Thanks. My wife turned the system off and on again multiple times. It works for awhile and then goes to error again. The car hasn't even had a chance to get dirty being only a day old, but I'll remember to keep the cameras clean.iRogue wrote:I've received this error message several times. I noticed it happens during snow, or when the car was really dirty, at night. Sometimes restarting the system quickly by pressing the switch on the lower left switch panel cures the problems, but sometimes, it only solves it for few minutes.
i agree 1000000000000000000000% times with your postQashqai wrote:For the last 20 years of my driving history, I never move into the opposite lane and I never crash into a car on my blind spot.
I am glad that my "old" Rogue has No such gizmos. One -sorry "two" - less warning lights to worry about.
While I'll agree that fewer bells and whistles means fewer things that can go wrong, the Rogue really does have very large blind spots. It's too bad that today's crossover designs lend themselves to poor visibility and the thought is just to patch the fault with electronics that can ultimately fail.Qashqai wrote:For the last 20 years of my driving history, I never move into the opposite lane and I never crash into a car on my blind spot.

I also thought the Rogue had large blind spots when I first started driving it. Then I got used to the width of the vehicle, which is a full six inches wider (not counting side mirrors) than my other smaller car. Knowing how images are reflected in the mirror makes it easy to compensate. I'm still in the habit of looking over my shoulder before changing lanes in the Rogue, because I developed the habit when I first started driving it, but my mirrors have never failed me. In my little Toyota, the visibility is so good that I hardly ever have to use the passenger side mirror. Just using the rear view mirror is sufficient 90% of the time and hardly has a blind spot. The combination of all 3 mirrors together eliminates all blind spots on the Toyota. I was briefly driving a Tiguan rental over the winter, and that also took some mental adjustments before I learned how to use the mirrors properly. On that vehicle, the mirrors themselves are much smaller than the Rogue's mirrors.coleman wrote:While I'll agree that fewer bells and whistles means fewer things that can go wrong, the Rogue really does have very large blind spots. We brought the car in today and they reprogrammed and recalibrated the cameras/sensors. We'll see how it behaves during the week.

Didn't find anyone with an awd error. Or chassis malfunction.
And losing function of the system.
The bsw. Just happens to also trip.
Hence the reason i started a new thread.
But I guess this problem has already been covered. Right Rogue One
