The Rogue did not come with that option until the newer generation. Your Rogue is 2014...correct? And you saying you don't have that option? Mine is 2014 SV and it does have auto up option but only on the driver's side. A friend of mine owns 2014 G37 and it comes with all 4 windows auto up/down option. So it is an option that some vehicles have it and some cheaper don't...Rogue isn't included in luxury/expensive vehicle class (even that price may rich some of the premium cars).Ferrisfan wrote:I don't think any OEM sells auto up windows in the US anymore. Too many problems with kids/pets being injured by the window. They have even phased out the forward/back rocker style switches with ones that you have to lift up just to eliminate having your arm accidentally trigger the "up mode" when you lean on the switch.
You can install it aftermarket, because then the liability shifts to you.
I have auto down only. Let me be clear on what I define as auto up. That would be a single button press that drives the window all the way to the top. Some may go up 3/4 of the way to leave room for safety, but I don't consider those to be auto up since they require additional action. I haven't seen auto up windows in the US for several years. That doesn't mean they don't still exist, but even the ones with the auto-reverse feature have caused injuries (i.e. lawsuits) so I would imagine they are rare. You can install after-market equipment to make auto up work if you feel like you must have it.Leo2005 wrote:The Rogue did not come with that option until the newer generation. Sounds like you need a reset. Open the window and keep holding the button for a few seconds after window is down. Then close the window and keep holding the button for a few seconds after the window is up. It should work after that.I have auto down only. Let me be clear on what I define as auto up. Well I'll be dipped in shellac. That did it. What a pointless, horrible idea it is to install that! Any idea how I can change it back?Leo2005 wrote:Sounds like you need a reset. I think the mod talk about this beforeRyleyinSTL wrote:Dear admins: Might be nice to have a 2nd Gen sub forum to clear up situations like these. You know, like most other nissan models have. With 2016s arriving any time it becomes harder and harder to browse pertinent information 3 model years into a new generation.

I also think this used to work. However, this function seems to have stopped working. Does anyone know if there is a way to toggle this function on/off? Anyone else have this function stop working?
Thanks
I read through the previous posts that were merged and don't believe it's the same issue. My auto up and auto down from within the automobile work fine. It's the auto down from outside the automobile using the remote (holding down the unlock button on the remote) that does not work for me. Just to make sure, I tried the solution above (hold down unlock all the way and hold for a few seconds and then hold up all the way and hold for a few seconds) and it did not fix my problem.Rogue One wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 11:35 amMerged with existing topic.
