Can anyone confirm whether Rogue has height adjustment on the seats. (not asking about the front/ back movement or incline of the back rest). Thanks.

Not sure if this is the correct thread to post my experiences with my new car
My car has run 3900 miles and i recently encountered a big jerking problem driving at 20-40 miles /hr. Had to deaccelerate and let the car run for a few distance until the jerk stopped . Am facing this problem for the last one week and was lucky to be a flat road whenever i had this issue. Could have been worst if it was steep roads.
Few instances i have also noticed issues like navigation system rebooting itself during driving and air bags symbol ON even though both the front seat belts were buckled up / Steering Audio controls (Forward/backward) doesn't function all the time.
Has anybody faced these issues before ? please let me know your thoughts
Average MPG has been 23-25 for me as well but otherwise it reports 33MPG on Highway and 27-29 on Local roads.khen wrote:Hello fellow 2014 Rogue owners
I picked up my SL 2 weeks ago. Upgaded from a 2010 SL AWD. I absolutely love the car except for one thing...poor MPG!
According to the integrated display... im only managing 23 MPG in a 65/35 - Highway/City mix. These figures are purely based on what the car is telling me though...... Planning on tracking actual miles vs fuel up to confirm they're accurate.
Also hoping that it'll improve slightly over the next few months or so. Anyone else disappointed in their MPG results?
Would love feedback from other 2014 AWD Rogue drivers.
Other than this... the car is fantastic.

Not correct Anthem...The non power seat has a lever that can adjust the height. At least the driver seat does, not sure about the passenger, though.AnthemGems wrote:comfy wrote:I just joined this forum. I don't own a Nissan but I'm looking to buy a Rogue.

The powered driver seat has that
Khen, it is extremely unlikely anybody would achieve the published fuel mileage (for any make). The way they test is nowhere near how we drive in real conditions. You will notice whenever those stats are given, there is fine print that reads "Actual mileage may vary with driving conditions - use for comparison only."khen wrote:Hello fellow 2014 Rogue owners

Hi hsunnar, I'm in Ontario too and will be picking mine up tomorrow evening. Just say "No" to all that stuff. It's pure profit for the dealer. Does it make sense to pay THEM to warranty their own car? BTW, while the comp is only 3/60,000km, the power-train warranty is 5yr/100,000km, some parts of emissions are 8yr/130,000km, Corrosion Perforation is 5yr/unlimited km, etc. So you're not getting much more for that $1,865.hsunnar wrote:Hi Folks,
I am very excited as I will be the new owner of 2014 Nissan Rogue - Family Tech package, in two days. I was wondering if there is a need to buy an extended warranty on it. I was quoted $1650 plus tax for 5 years comprehensive (gold package, I guess) upto 100,000 km on it. Also, $850 for paint protection for 10 years.
I live it Ontario, Canada, would appreciate if someone has recently bought warranty on Rogue and would like to share their thoughts and quotes they got.
Cheers!
Did they tell you what was causing the ac to cycle? My wife's rogue is doing this. It has the correct charge of refrigerant and it passed a leak test. Thanks.edogyip wrote:You may want to call Nissan of McKinney (TX) as they fixed my 2014 Rogue with AC problems. It would cycle on and off at random, and then it would only blow cool air once in a while. It took them 2 weeks, but they finally got me fixed up.Ontario Driver wrote:Hello. This is my first posting. We purchased a 2014 Rogue SV in January and like it - except that the heater/AC are not working properly. With the thermostat turned to cold, on an intermittent basis we get either partial or full heat regardless of whether the AC is turned on. On the highway, we have to select the recirculating air button, but on cool days the windows fog up. Have been driving around with the windows open. Dealer says it doesn't know what the problem is. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks.
Edit: Saw you got it worked out. Nice to have AC in the summer in a new car huh?
According to the OMVIC regs (Section 36(7) of the MVDA), if the dealer says it is a mandatory fee it must be included in the advertised price, otherwise they can't force you to pay it.momo86 wrote:Hello!
But then they forced my to buy the VIN etching (said it was already done and no way around it, they were literally going to let me walk) and I got the warranty which is $0 deductible for 72000 miles for an extra $900.
Did anyone else get forced into the etching? Do you guy think this was a fair purchase price?
I have/had that, too. Seemed like it was coming from the rear seat passenger side area. Haven't noticed it in a while, though.StevieGFTM wrote:Got my 2014 Rogue SL with the premium package two weeks ago. Really loving it. I do have a slight rattle coming from the passenger side of the moon roof. My dealer is looking at it tomorrow. Hope it only needs a slight adjustment. Anyone else experiencing the same rattle!
Just bought a 2014 SV. Dealership in Newmarket, ON threw in rugged floor mats (saves me from buying the Weather Tech ones), chrome bumper cover, 3M clear bra and roof rack cross rails. Other than that, she's pretty stock. Not too sure what mods will be done, but for now we are happy.StevieGFTM wrote:Got my 2014 Rogue SL with the premium package two weeks ago. Really loving it.
